*What I am sure all you have been waiting for*
Knock Knock
I woke up with a start, and a bright light in my face. I closed my eyes, and opened them again to still see the light there.
"Queen Elsa, we have an emergency." The head general of the guards said with a lantern in his hands. "Please wake up."
"Wha..." I said still groggy and asleep. I looked outside, and saw that it was still very dark outside. I could hardly see the heavy snow falling. The guard stepped outside my room and leave the latern while I got dressed with the lanterns light. I slipped on a simple long black dress and black flats, and quickly patted my hair down. When I opened the door the guard was still there. I nodded and we walked down the hallway to the spiraling staircase.
"What is it?" I asked him, being careful to not fall down the steps in my half awake, half asleep state.
"Well. I don't know how to explain Miss Elsa. We were on watch duty, when we saw this, sort of snow explosion. I sent some of the guards to go check it out. After awhile they came back, and they found something."
"Something? What was it?"
"See for yourself." We were at the bottom of the stairs now. A group of tired and cold guards stood there.
"What did you find gentlemen?" I asked them. Two guards walked forward and threw something on the ground. It took me a moment of looking in the dark to realize it was a person. A young man. He had ice white hair and pale skin. His thin jacket was frozen and he had no shoes. "oh goodness. Take him to the dungeon, but get him blankets and stockings. Maybe some warm soup too."
"The dungeon Miss Elsa?"
"Yes, we don't know if he is dangerous yet. Just in, case until he awakens." I replied. The guards nodded and followed instructions.
"Queen Elsa, can I speak to you about something?" The guard that had woke me up asked. I nodded. "The ice explosion, I am not sure exactly what caused it, but I think it has something to do with the boy. I know it seemw odd, but anyone out there dressed like that would have died within minutes. He's still alive, and that could only be possible if..."
"If what?"
"If he had some sort of powers. Like you Miss Elsa."
I gasped. "No, that's impossible, the trolls would have told us if it was possible that someone else could be like me. Told my parents something......." I shook my head. Would they have known if there had been someone like me? The guard looked at me regretfully. "Send your men to bed. You all are tired and hungry."
"But the prisoner-"
"I will watch the prisoner." I cut him off and thanked him.
The general sighed and said "Well take this, it was found with him." He handed me a rather large frozen stick.
I looked at him. "It is a stick general."
He looked back at me, knowing how crazy he was sounding but confident in what he said. "He was gripping on to it for dear life. It is important for some reason." He turned and left. I yawned and walked down toward the dungeon. What did this mean? What was he doing out there? He could have died.
I opened the cell door, where the man was sleeping on the cot put in the cell after it was rebuilt. The same cell I had once been locked up in. I sat on the window sill and stared out the window. The moon was full, and blared bright despite the thick clouds. The light blared through the window and lit up the the man's back. It seemed like the moon was shining bright just for him. I stared at him for hours, wanting for him to wake up. To get answers, could it be possible that someone else could have powers like me? I had never thought of it before. Again I asked myself if it were possible that the trolls would know if there were more people like me.
Just then he woke up, fluttering his eyes open. They were a deep blue. "Mmmm ah where am I?" He raised his head, looking around.
"Hey take it easy sir. You are in Arendelle."
"Arendelle? How did I get here?" he tried to get up but was too weak and failed, having to flop back down on the cot.
"I said be careful. You aren't fully rested. The guards found you outside. They said you seemed to fall from the sky and made a snow explosion." They brought you in after they found you.
"Oh nevermind that. Well then who are you?"
"I am Queen Elsa, and you are?
"Elsa? My name is Jack" he gave me a huge grin. I gasped. His voice, that voice. It was the same one I had been hearing for the past couple of days. "Are you ok?" he asked, looking concerned. From the first few words I had heard from this Jack I knew he had a big heart.
"Oh uh yes I just....Nothing."
"You what?"
"I feel like I have heard your voice before. I know it sounds stupid just forget it. Are you warm do you need more blankets?" I asked trying to drop the subject.
He locked eyes with me, then looked at the floor. "Oh I am fine. The cold doesn't really bother me." Just then he looked right by me, at the frozen stick. "Where did you get that?"
"It was with you outside."
"Can I have it?"
"Why? You can't do anything with it."
"Well I would beg to differ."
"What's so special about it?"
"Elsa, please."
"Jack, I am queen of Arendelle. I need to know everything that goes on. And that includes you and anything to do with you." I got up from the window sill. Just then he shot out ice from his hands and froze my feet to the floor. He tried to get up and get the stick, but was still weak and ultimately slow. I smiled at him, two could play at this game. I pointed my hand toward his feet, freezing them as well and grabbed the stick first. He shot ice at my hand and knocked the stick out of it and caused it to fall to the ground once again. He tried to grab me and push me back, I grabbed his hands and tried to freeze them in a ball but, instead accidently froze my hands in it too.
We stopped, frozen together, and out of breath.
Jack looked at me, smiling with surprise and astonishment. "Well you turned out to be a surprise didn't you Miss Elsa."thank you all for the likes and votes! you guys are amazing!
