I flipped the page as I curled more into my blanket. "Sweetheart, come down!" My father called up the stairs. I place the bookmark in between the pages before getting up from my bed. I walked down the stairs to see two husky men standing on either side of my door.

The taller one looked at me and grunted before turning his head towards the kitchen. "Daddy," I said slowly as I walked into the kitchen to see him pinned to the counter with a gun pointing as the back of his head.

I gasped as he turned his head towards me, "sweetheart these men are going to be taking you away for a little bit."

"No," I snapped and looked at the man who was holding a gun to my father's head. "You're going to leave him alone and I'm not going anywhere."

"You want him to live?" The man in the corner asked with a smirk plastered on his face. "At the snap of my fingers he will put a bullet in your father's head."

"You can't do this," I hissed as he stepped closer to me.

He chuckled as he flicked out a knife, in one swift move he was behind me and had a knife against my throat. "He'll sign the papers I need. Won't you, Frank?"

"Just don't hurt her," my father spoke as they slid papers in front of him. The man who had him pinned let him up with the gun against his head.

"Sign it," he snapped as he pressed the knife harder against my neck. His shaking hands picked up the pen and scribbled a signature down. "Now you're coming with me, sweetheart." He pushed me into one of the guys who grabbed my waist.

"I won't go," I spat as I flailed my arms and legs trying to get out of the man's grip. I swung my leg back and kicked him in the nuts, I ran for the back door until I heard a gun click.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He spoke in a calm voice as hands wrapped around me. The tall man threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. I looked back to see him clock my father in the back of the head with the gun.

I shut my eyes hoping this was all a dream, but I was soon brought back to reality when I was thrown into a car. I quickly got up with hopes to escape when the door was shut in my face. I heard the locks click as a gunshot rung out.

"No!" I cried out as the car came to a roar and pulled out of my driveway. I curled up into the seat as the tears streamed down my face.

The door opened as the tall man reappeared. He grabbed my arm and ripped me out of the car and into the house. He dragged me up to a room before throwing me in it. I fell onto the floor as the door slammed shut and the lock clicked.

I brought my knees up to my face and let the sobs pour out. The door soon opened and a women strutted in. "You're not meeting my son like that." She grumble while walking passed me.

"You act like I had a choice," I hissed as she grabbed my hair and ripped me up onto the bed. "I feel like you and your husband get along very well."

"If you don't shut the hell up I'm going to backhand you." She hissed as she pulled on my hair harder. I shut my mouth as she walked over to a closet.

She came back with a simple but cute outfit. "Put it on," she demanded as she walked into the bathroom. I got up and stripped from my comfy clothes and put on the outfit.

The mother came walking in with makeup and and a straightener. She plugged the straightener into the wall before pointing at the bed. I sat down and she came over starting make up.

After finishing the make up she started straightening my hair. "Done, the car is outside waiting for you." She stated before leaving me alone in the room.

I sighed, I slid on the black boots before standing up and walking up to the door. The tall man was waiting outside for me. "Do I really need an escort." I rolled my eyes as he followed me out to the car.

He waiting for me to climb in before climbing into the passenger seat. Once he shut the door the car pulled out onto the road. Such a warm welcome.

It wasn't long before the car came to a stop and my door opened. This time the tall man waiting for me to climb out of the car.

He gripped my wrist tight as we walked up to the condo. We stopped at a door that read 212 and waited until the tall guy unlocked the door.

He yanked me in and shut the door behind him. After he relocked the door he let go off my wrist. The first thing you saw when you walked in was a larger clean kitchen. My eyes zeroed in a the guy sitting on the stool taking in a hit of a blunt.

"So this is my fiancee," he said as he let the smoke escape his mouth. "You can go now, Rick." The tall man turned and unlocked the door before walking out.

I could hear the lock click as the door shut. "How about a kiss, love?" He said with a smirk plastered on his face as he walked over to me.

"Sure," I dragged out while tapping my chin. "Let me kiss and marry the son of the guy that killed my father." His smirk faded as his hand wrapped around my neck. He pinned me to the wall and pressed his hand harder against my neck.

"Let me explain to you one thing," he started but took a pause to take another drag of the blunt. "You will respect me at all times. I don't deal with bitching and moaning, got it." I nodded but his grip got tighter around my throat. "Answer me, dammit."

"Yes," I pushed out causing him to let go of my throat, I dropped to the ground trying to fill my lungs back up with air.

"Stop overreacting." He mumbled as he walked back to the stool he was sitting at. "I will be expecting dinner to be cooked by 6. You're room is the first door to the right."

I picked myself off the floor and walked up to my so-called room. I opened the door and it was blank like a hospital room. A king sized bed sat in the middle of the room with a white fluffy comforter laid on top.

There was a door to the left side of the bed which lead to my bathroom and another door on the right side of the room which lead to a empty walk-in closet.

Since I had nothing brought with me I decided to go down and start cooking. This life is going to feel more like a servant. I walked into the kitchen and started looking in the cabinets to find something to cook.

I pulled out some ground beef and taco seasoning before walking to the stove. I pulled out a pan and set it on medium on the stove. As I let that get hot I pulled out some of the ingredients for tacos.

I threw the ground beef in the pan and cooked that up before I started chopping the ingredients. Once I was done chopping everything up and getting them in bowls, I set the table. The table was medium sized so I put one spot at each end of the table.

After the table was set I looked at the time to see it was six on the dot. Not soon after he came in and sat down at one end of the table. "I never got your name," I carefully said as I sat down at the other end.

"I'm Leo Williams." He said as he put together his taco. "Yours is Sammi Grey."

I bit back the smart ass comment and started putting together my own taco. "I don't have any clothes here." I stated after finishing half of my taco.

"We're going shopping tomorrow." He simply stated as he continued to eat his taco. After a few tacos he simply got up and disappeared upstairs.

I sighed and started to clean up the food and dishes. After everything was clean and put away I went up to my room. I opened the window to see the view of the Californian beaches. I sat on the windowsill and stared out into the beach until my door opened.

I looked up to see Leo with some clothes in his hand. "You can use theses to sleep in for tonight." He set them on my bed before walking back out of my room.

I looked out into the beach one more time before getting up, I grabbed the clothes and walked into the bathroom. I stripped from the clothes and put on the sweat pants with a large shirt.

I washed my face before walking back into my room. I crawled under the covers and curled into a little ball. I thought of my father as tears slipped out.
