Chapter 15

I woke up to a sharp pain on my ass. I hissed and looked at the standing Leo next to the bed. "Was that necessary." I snapped and glared up at him.

"Your attitude depends how much your ass gets beat." He shot back. "Get dressed and come downstairs." He said and walked out of the room.

I don't miss the old Leo. I thought as I got up from the bed and walked into my own room. I looked through my closet before pulling out a tight pair of shorts and a sports bra. I stripped from my clothes and got dressed. I threw my hair up in a ponytail tail before slipping shoes on.

I walked downstairs and we walked out and down to the gym. We walked into the back room where there was a ring. "Lose the shoes then give me your hands." I took my shoes off and walked over to Leo. I held out my fists and he wrapped them up.

"Get your ass in the ring." He said before slapping my ass. I walked over to the ring and climbed in. He got in and walked up to me. "Left foot in the back and the right in the front." He said as he pushed my feet apart. "Hands always protecting the face." He grabbed my wrists and held them up to my face.

"Now hit me." He said backing up. I looked at him like he was crazy and shook my head. He smirked before jabbing me in the stomach hard. I dropped to the ground trying to retrieve the air that escaped.

"Get up and hit me." He demanded before kicking me back down. "I said hit me." He yelled. He kicked me down again.

I got up to my feet and I was starting to get pissed. "Don't make me hit you again." He threatened. I punched him as hard as I could in the stomach.

He smirked and let out a slight chuckle. "We have to work on your punches." He said and grabbed my wrists again. "Always protecting your face."

He separated my feet again before backing up. He took his own stance. "When you go to hit move your whole body with the punch." He threw a punch in the air and I watched as his whole body shifted. "Now hit me."

He stood there with his arms down and I got back in the stance. I threw another punch moving my whole body with him. "Good. Again." He demanded and I threw another punch.

We did this for about ten minutes until he grabbed my fists. "You're gonna have a fight in two days. I want you to be ready." He said and I got closer to my face. "Don't disappoint me or you'll be in the ring with me again."

He climbed out of the ring and walked out of the room. I shook my head, how was I supposed to be ready for a fight in two days. How was I supposed to win?

I climbed out of the ring and walked over to the punching bag. I got into the stance and held my hands up to my face. I threw punches into the bag remembering to throw my whole body into the punch. I didn't stop till the bag swung back and the door shut.

I turned and looked at Tay who was smirking at me. "Looks like someone is ready to fight."

"I wouldn't say that." I said walking towards her.

"Climb in the ring." She said and I did. I stood and waited for her. "No mercy." She said and swung towards my face. I ducked causing her to miss. "Nice, but always watch your opponent." She said before swiping my feet from under me.

I fell to the floor and she brought a punch down to my stomach. "Get up. You need to learn how to take a hit." She demanded and I stood up.

I waited till she swung before ducking and throwing a punch into her side. She slightly winced but threw her knee into my stomach.

I winced at the pain but didn't wait to throw a punch into her stomach. She backed up a little before sweeping my legs from under me. I fell to the floor and saw her fist coming towards my face, I winced and waited for impact but she stopped inches away from my face.

"Never give in." She said and held out a hand. I took it and she pulled me up. "Let me show you some defense moves. First never strike first. Always play on defense in the beginning of the fight."

We kept practicing sparing until Noah and Leo walked in. "Come on Tay." Noah said and she climbed out of the ring. Leo rewrapped his hands and climbed back in the ring.

"Let's see what you've learned." Leo said and I got into my fighting position. He threw a punch but I ducked and threw a jab at his side. He smirked and tried to swipe my legs from out of me, instead I jumped back.

I tried to round house kick him but he grabbed my leg throwing my whole body to the floor. In seconds he dropped down and slammed a fist into my face. Everything went black in seconds.

I woke and looked around to see that I was back in Leo's room. I got out of the bed and walked over to the mirror. I saw the black ring around my eye and softly touched it. I hissed when my fingers skimmed against the swollen skin.

"I wouldn't touch it." I heard Leo's voice causing me to glare at him. He held out a steak to me and I ripped it out of his hands.

"This is your fault." I snapped and pressed the steak to my eye ignoring the pain.

"Someone could've done worse. You've had worse." He hissed balling up his fists at his side.

"But never had I thought it would've been you." I snapped and stormed past him. I walked into my own room and into my closet. I pulled out a tight pair of workout shorts and a sports bra. I changed out of the sweats and into those.

I walked down into the kitchen and laid the steak on the counter before walking out the door. I headed straight down into the gym. All the guys stopped and stared at me, some smirking. "Anyone have wrap?" I called out and they all got up heading to their bags.

I waited until one guy came up to me holding out white wrap. His arms were covered in tattoos and he had some scattered on his chest. "Watch who you get attention from." He smiled and walked away.

I walked into the back room before wrapping my hands. I grabbed the beats pill and connected my phone. I scrolled through before stopping on the remix of come together.

I blasted it and walked over to the bag. I got into my fighting position and started beating into the bag. I would duck and punch just a like it was a fighting opponent.

The music soon paused but I kept beating into the bag. I didn't stop till I felt arms wrap around my waist. "I'm sorry." A husky voice whispered in my ear and my heart started to beat rapidly.

He spun me around and I looked into Leo's eyes. They were mixed with emotions but I notice the lust. "You look damn good right now." He smirked and bit his lip. Must I say that he looked so sexy right now.

"I'm mad at you." I said and looked away from him.

"Don't be mad at me baby." He said while grabbing my chin to make him look at me. "I was just trying to teach you mafia ways. Sometimes that means getting hurt." He pecked my lips and I yearned for more.

"Round two? I'm pretty sure I could beat you." I smirked and hit his chest.

"Tomorrow love." He said and wrapped his arm around my waist. We walked out of the room and into the gym. I looked for the guy that gave me the wrap. He was in the back grabbing his bag.

"I'll be right back." I told Leo before kissing his cheek. I walked to the back where the guy was.

"Thanks for the wraps." I said causing him to look at me.

He smiled. "No problem. So you're Leo's girl?"

I nodded and he smirked. "That explains the black eye." He chuckled and threw the bag over his shoulder. "I'm Trent, it's nice to meet you, Leo's girl." He walked away and I walked back over to Leo.
