Alexander Hamilton sat at his desk, finishing an English paper that wouldn't be due for another month. He was exhausted, probably due to the fact that he was running on three hours of sleep and coffee. But Alexander felt that he needed to stay ahead, and stay alive. So there he sat, working on his English paper in the early morning when everyone else was asleep.

His alarm went off and he bolted up, turning it off. It was 10am, and his first class was at noon. Alexander sighed, running a hand through his hair, as he realized he fell asleep while working last night.

"Dammit," He said aloud to himself. Alex sighed and pulled himself out of bed. He got dressed and pulled his hair back into a ponytail before going into the living room.

"Hey Ale- what time did you go to bed last night?" John Laurens, Alex's roommate asked upon seeing his face.

Alexander shrugged. "5am maybe? I saw the sunrise, it was beautiful. Then I feel asleep." He said, "why, are there bags under my eyes?"

"Yes." John said flatly. "Alex, you need to get more sleep."

"But I don't want to." Alexander whinned.

John rolled his eyes but smiled. "You're gonna be hella exhausted all day."

Alexander laughed. "I indeed will be 'hella' exhausted, as you do eloquently put it."

John rolled his eyes again, a habit of his, as another smile spread across his face. "I have to go to class." He said. John grabbed a banana and his book bag and headed out.

Alexander watched him leave, the quiet room now feeling awkward. He worked on his English paper a bit more before heading to class himself.

Eliza, Angelica, and Peggy walked together to class. A man rushed past Eliza in hurry shouting, "Sorry!" Over his back when he bumped into her.

"Who was that?" Eliza asked, intrigued. Angelica shrugged.

Peggy spook up for the first time that morning, "His name's Alexander. Alexander Hamilton. In my English class. Practically a month ahead of everyone else. Hates Thomas Jefferson. Furiously bisexual." She said, listing off fact after fact.

Eliza giggled at her younger sister, "Okay okay I get it. I just wanted a name." She said.

"Why's that?" Angelica asked, grinning.

Eliza flushed. "N-no reason. I've just..seen him around." Which was the truth, but not the whole truth.

"Mhm." Angelica said, elbowing her sister playfully.

Eliza rolled her eyes, "Whatever, he's not even my type." She lied.

Angelica shook her head, chuckling. "Sure he's not. Anyways, my class is right here, so I gotta go." Angelica hugged each of her sisters and walked into her class. She pushed down her feelings for the boy her sister liked and sat down.
