Chapter 12

After few minutes fly, we stopped right at the forest's heart. Right beside us, not too far, a gigantic tree is found. Though, covered by a large vines, the tree sustained it's spectacular beauty. Amazing.

I took a glimpse towards Miss Wendenson when she called. "Very amazing eh?" She asked crossing her arms. I nodded. I'm stunned when a butterfly resembling the color of the rainbow flew over me, so I opened my palm and it laid down my hand.

I lift my hand and checked the butterfly out. Such a lovely pattern. "Come over," Miss Wendenson walked towards the tree and just a few moment, the butterfly flew away. So, I followed her. "Why are we here?" I questioned. She grinned and blink her right eye.

Miss Wendenson placed her hands on the trunk of the tree. And a sparkling light from her hands came out. I took one step back when I saw the vines untwining itself from the tree. After that, a chamber is found. No, I mean, it's a portal. "Wow," I said, astonished. "What's this?" I added.

"Are you ready, I'll take you home." She said. And then, she took my hand and went inside the portal.

Just a blink of my eyes, I found myself standing beside the river. "Oh, wait! Is that a sparkling river?" I exclaimed running towards the edge of this green ground and soaked my hand on the water. This river is unbelievable, it sparkles.

"It's Enchanted River, it may seem like just a sparkling water, but it does heal wounds." She explained, that made me curious.

"Really?" I asked excitedly. "Ah," I grumbled when Miss Wendenson grabbed my left hand. "What's the matter?" She asked, confusedly.

"I wounded myself. But, it's just a scratch." I answered and rubbed my wound gently, while blowing it to reduce the pain it makes. She then lift the left sleeve of my jacket and glanced at my wrist.

"Where's your mark?" She asked, baffled. I tilt my head, "What mark?" I asked her back. But, she composed herself and smiled brightly. "Nevermind, let's wash it off." She suggested and putted my hand near above the water and washed my wound.

A second after, it healed.

"I told you," She uttered and lead the way. Where are we going now? This place seems to be a wide greenfield and has nothing but flowers and trees.

I looked around and siezed my moment. I closed my eyes and stretched  both of my arms with my open palm while feeling the fresh air, listening to the river's flowing water sound and chirping of the birds. I sighed, there are no loud unnecessary noises. It's very new to me.

"Ah, this is very great." I whispered to myself. This is so different from the world I used to live. But what exactly is waiting for me here?

"Liked it?" Miss Wendenson cracked my moment, so I nodded as a reply. I heard her chuckled but I didn't mind.

I tilt my head and watched the clear blue sky above. A thought creeps into my head, that causes me to stop feeling the moment.

I wonder where my dad is.
