I wonder
If they knew what their words meant
I know it's supposed to be a joke
But their words penetrate my thin skin
They bring me down
It's hard not to break when they say them
If they knew their words pushed me closer and closer to the breaking point
Would they stop
Or would they continue
And make it worse
Bring me down to bring themselves up
