The Attempt

Oka's POV

He came to me during lunch. That boy... why would he want to join? He seemed like the type who wouldn't care about this type of thing. Did he really want to join? Or is he a demon, plotting our fall? This requires... research...

Your POV

Class was almost over. It was almost time for my first club activity. I wonder what it'll be? Hopefully something not too weird. The bell rang and I gathered my stuff. Oka was out the door, quick and quiet, like a ghost. I headed toward the club and walked inside. I saw the members huddled in a circle, talking quietly and quickly. Then I saw one of the notice I was there.

Oka: *looks at you* Welcome.
You: "Thanks. So, what do we do?"
Oka: "We're going to attempt to summon a demon. Put on those robes over there."

I put the robes on, thinking this was odd. Oh well, I guess it's worth it to get close to her. We all knelt in a circle, and they started doing some weird saying or whatever. I played along, and nothing happened. Guess it wasn't meant to be. We put the robes away and the club ended. Afterwards I went over to Oka.

You: "Was that normal?"
Oka: "We haven't successfully summoned one yet... but we will, one day."
You: "Right. Do you want to... maybe... hang out sometime?"
Oka: "Y-you want to... w-with me? Uh... y-yes... We'll t-talk later... uh... bye*

Upon saying this, she grabbed her stuff and took off, without another word. I walked out into the hall and felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I looked, and it was a text from a number I don't recognize.

Strange Text: "Meet me in the storeroom in 10 minutes. Come alone."

I started heading in that direction, trying to comprehend what this was about. I walked into the storeroom, which was empty, except for a large musical instrument case in front of me. Then I felt a small poke in the back of my neck. I started feeling dizzy, and everything was getting dark and hazy...
