"Maddi! we have to go, like now!" Blake yelled as he burst into my room.

Blake is my twin brother; older than me by 7 minutes. we're kinda internet famous, I guess you could say. we're pretty popular on Musical.ly and Instagram and YouTube, just like our neighbors, the Blake Boys; Justin, Danny, and Damon.

Blake ran over to my bed and pulled me up from my place on the edge and out the door.

"woah! Blake wait a minute, what happened?!" I asked him with a confused look.

"listen, Danny and Damon were in a really bad car accident and uh... we don't really know if they're going to make it..." he trailed off and a look of concern washed over his face.

"what? oh my gosh. wait, is Justin okay?"

Danny and Damon were really close friends of mine, but Justin was my best friend. he was always there for me.

"yeah, Justin's okay. he wasn't with them, he was at home with his parents. Danny and Damon went to hang out with their friends, but Justin didn't want to go because his binder was hurting his chest. he's fine though. well, I don't know if he's fine mentally, but physically he is. anyway, their mom just called me and asked if we could go stay with Justin for the night while his parents go to the hospital to spend the night with Danny and Damon."

he kept pulling me by my arm down the stairs. my mom was in the living room, so when Blake and I came stumbling down the stairs at about 100mph, she asked,

"why the rush?"

"uh, Danny and Damon got in a really bad car accident and their mom needs us to go stay with Justin for the night so he's not alone while they spend the night at the hospital," Blake squeezed it all out in one breath.

"oh my gosh! are they okay?" my mom looked genuinely concerned.

"we uh... we don't know... really."

"okay, well then go! stay with Justin, I'm sure he really needs you two right now."
