don't play the song until I say :)

Blake came back shortly after he left. I thanked him and he left again.
-
"let's go change," Justin said.
-
we walked upstairs. he stopped in front of his door. I knew why; he shared a room with Damon. he hesitated but proceeded to turn the door handle.
-
he stepped in with caution and turned to look at me. the tears had returned to his eyes and he said,
-
"I- I can't sleep in here. will you sleep downstairs with me?"
-
I simply nodded my head.
-
"uh, here," he said as he pulled two articles of clothing out of his dresser; he handed them to me.
-
"I'll be right back," I whispered as I walked out of the room.
-
I walked down the hallway and into the bathroom. the light flickered a bit as I clicked it on. once it was stable, I closed the door. I slowly began to undress myself until I was left in my comfortable sports bra and underwear.
-
I slipped the clothes Justin handed me over my bra and underwear.
-
once I was fully dressed, I threw my curly light brown hair into a high ponytail and carefully examined what I was wearing; black basketball shorts and a black tank top that said "#TURNT" printed on the front in green lettering.
-
seeing as Justin was a few inches taller than me, the clothing was very baggy on me. the tank top had large holes on the sides where the sleeves should be, exposing my army green sports bra. and the shorts were so large that they hung off my hips.
-
I'm not gonna lie, I look cute.
-
I throw my original clothes over my arm and walk out the door, watching the light flicker for a moment when I flipped the switch.
-
walking back down the hallway, I realize how many paintings there are on the wall. I've been coming here for years, yet I've never paid any attention to them. when I reached Justin's room, I peaked my head in the door and found Kitty sitting on his bed, but Justin was nowhere to be seen.
-
I threw my clothes in my bag which rested on the floor in the same spot where I left it. I walked out of the room, flipping the switch on my way out.
-
I made my way down the stairs and found a sleepy Justin with messy hair and black glasses sitting on the floor, playing with Icky (Danny's cat). he turned and looked at me with red, puffy eyes,
-

{start song}
-
-
"please don't judge me," he whispered.
-
I walked over and put my arm around him, pulling him closer to me.
-
"why would I judge you?"
-
"because you've never seen me this way before," he hung his head low and rested it on my shoulder.
-
"this isn't going to change how I feel about you, if that's what you're thinking," I said.
-
he looked at me and said,
-
"really?"
-
"of course it won't. Justin you're just a little emotional right no-"
-
"BUT ITS NOT JUST RIGHT NOW, MADDI!"
-
he cut me off.
-
he stood up and turned away from me.
-
"it's not just right now," he repeated.
-
"it's always. I'm constantly living with this pain! I feel like I'm trapped in a prison. my own personal hell that I've been barricaded inside of. but you... you've always been that... light. that one thing that assures me that everything is going to be okay. you were my hope. you are my hope."
-
the tears that had started dwelling in his eyes when he stood up were now streaming down his face.
-
"Justin... whenever you need me, I'll be there. whatever you need, I'll give you," I said as I stood up and hugged him.
-
he pulled away from the hug and looked me in the eyes. he cupped my cheeks and wiped my tears away.
-
"this... this is what I need."
