Hailey's POV
I wake up at 11am three hours late for school but I don't even bother to hurry up. I'm always late nowadays anyways so what difference does another one make? I pick up my phone and quickly scroll through social media to see pictures of girls with dog ears on their heads and memes that might as well be 2 years old. I get out of bed and open the curtains to look through my window and see beautiful raindrops falling down.
Flashback
"Dylan is that you? What are you doing out here in the rain?" I say to the man standing in front of me. He is wearing a white shirt a grey bomber jacket and black jeans. His wet hair is all over his face and he looks sexier than ever. For a second I forgot I was upset with him. "I needed to see you Hailey." he says and takes a step closer to me "I know you saw me with her back there and I needed to explain myself. It's not what you think. Becca is just a friend, she means nothing to me. And we weren't even doing anything I swear." "Maybe not.. But I know you wanted to. And don't even try to deny it Dylan, I've seen the way you look at her." I say, tears threatening to come out "Are you crazy? Why would I ever want a girl like Becca when I have YOU?" he says as he takes another step closer to me, this time putting our bodies so close they almost touch "Don't you know it's you? It's always been you Hailey. I love you and no one else" he wipes the tear that managed to get out and pulls me in for a kiss, his lips softly touching mine and our tongues moving in a beautifully synchronized way.
As I get to school I'm greeted with familiar faces, faces that I used to be friends with until they decided that the "new me" just wasn't for them anymore. Hypocrites. That's what they are. A bunch of hypocrites. I mean they judge me for drinking and smoking and having sex with a bunch guys, as if they don't do all of those things as well. The only difference is that I'm open about it because I don't give a shit what anyone think of me whilst they only care about keeping their "reputation".
I walk through the hallway ignoring the staring and whispering and get to my locker. I get out my books and start walking to class. When I get there I see that in my regular seat is a guy that I don't recognize doodling something on his book. I walk up to him prepared to call him out for sitting in my place but when I get there and he looks up at me I almost lose my breath.. he looks just like.. "D-Dylan?"
