Hailey's POV

I stand there for what felt like hours completely speechless unable to understand how this stranger could look so much like Dylan. "I'm sorry who?" the guy asks taking me back to reality "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost" he chuckles trying to lighten the mood and gently rests his hand on my shoulder. I quickly jerk it off "Yes I'm fine. Now move, that's my seat." He looks shocked from my harsh words but simply nods and sits somewhere else. How could I even think that he was Dylan? I really need to get over him.

The class starts and I'm already bored and want to get out of this stupid classroom that's filled with a bunch of nerds. I really don't belong here in this school or in this stupid planet , nothing makes sense anymore  and everything feels meaningless. I should probably just go outside to distract myself from all of these fucking thoughts .
As soon as I get out of the classroom I call Jaden so she can keep me company , I really don't wanna smoke alone right now.

"Hey, wanna grab a smoke?" She coughs as she responds. "Don't you have class?"  "Why would I be there? It's not like the teacher will notice if I'm gone" Jade laughs "Oh but you are such an amazing student  Hailey, you shouldn't be skipping class." She says ironically. " Ha ha you're so funny, really, you should be a comedian. Now will you keep me some company?." " Yeah sure, I will be there in 5."

I see a lot of stupid nerds walking past me just staring at me as if they have seen a ghost. Don't they have better things to do? I'm honestly starting to get annoyed, I never understood the point of staring at someone like they're an animal or something. A lot of thoughts cross my mind about what I should do with these nerds .. maybe I should scream at them.. or set their hair on fire...OR MAYBE EVEN...  Jaden interrupts my thoughts by saying " Hey Hailey, are you daydreaming or what?" " Yeah you know I'm thinking about how amazing and fair life is" I ironically reply " Okay well I really don't wanna hear your pathetic story, now could you please give me the lighter" I give Jaden my lighter and we start smoking, it's funny to think how I hated the smell of cigarettes when I was younger and look at me now. " Hey Jaden are you going to the party on Friday?" Jaden looks exited when I ask her about the party "Yeah of course , your cousin will be there right?" she has a smirk on her face while she asks the question. "Oh hell no Jade, you're not going to flirt with him, you know my cousin is like a brother to me." I don't know if I'm serious or if I'm just ironic. " I can't predict the future sorry. Anyways I really need to get back to class" she says looking worried "Really you? Going back to class? That's a first"             "Yeah I know , I'll call you later" She says as she leaves me alone smoking.

I stay there for about 15 more minutes until I decide to go back in again. I'm really not ready to go into the classroom yet so I decide to go to Dylan's locker. It hurts just as much every time to go there but for some reason I feel like I have to do it. There are a lot of candles and flowers on the floor where his locker is, most of them from people that have probably said two words to him. I can't handle this anymore I should probably go home and eat ice cream and smoke like I do everyday. I take my car and drive back home were I really should be. I get into my bed and I close my eyes. After maybe 5 minutes I'm already fast asleep.
