Every word took her breath away,
Everytime he had something to say,
Each time, slowly, she faded away,
Increasing the effort, to keep the tears at bay....
She knew that it was time to leave,
She could never get his mind's monopoly,
Harder she fell, each time he swept her off her feet,
Only to get back up alone, with scraped knees....
Don't know if he didn't intend to, or did it purposely,
He wiped her tears, then made them flow down her cheeks,
He laughed, he loved, then he left just as easily,
Leaving a scar each time in her heart deeply.....
