What inspired you to write a story?
A lotta things. Majority of them are inspired by thingsi cal mixnmatch marathons, where I pick random films from each genre and watch them in one day, a song, or an event in my life.
Do you get any hate on your stories? If you do, how do you handle it?
Well, I have none, really. Wait, my first ever comment on my first ever story was a hate comment. Other than that, no :)
How did you come up with the title and the plot?
Carrie Cupid is the alias she goes by, so it's only natural. And the plot was a combination of an idea I got watching Geek Charming (yes, I enjoy it, I think Matt Prokop is much more attractive than Harry Styles) and an idea from the first five minutes of the film Hitch. Then I let it marinate a bit.
What books would you tell your readers to read?
I don't know honestly. I'm more of a science fiction reader. For Carrie Cupid readers, I recommend The Kissing Booth. A wattpad book published. A big inspiration to Carrie Cupid. For readers of Tea Parties, I strongly recommend Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen. I mean, THE FEELS. And for Why, you guessed it, The Fault In Our Stars, but lets face it: we all cried over it already. So I recommend Tuesdays with Morrie.
If you could work with any author on Wattpad who would it be ?
Wow, this is hard...probably@ToastedBagels. I absolutely adore all her stories and constantly stalk her page for updates.
Who is your favourite character in your story and why?
In Carrie Cupid, I'm torn between Carson and Levi. Because Carson is the most unique character I've made up yet and am very proud of her. Levi...if I reveal why, it's a bit of a spoiler.
Can you relate to any of your characters?
Carson is probably the most relatable. Because I know how it feels to be behind your best friend's spotlight, and I've been strongly pulled towards psychology, that in research for Carrie Cupid, I bought a thick psychology book which I ended up reading it for fun.
Are their any wattpad authors that have grasped your interest?
@ToastedBagels@cannons@AnchoredShips@_aviary I have about dozens more.
What do you think your cover says about your book?
That it shows...well, the frame on it has a hidden meaning to me too long to explain, that each person is different .
10. Any advice for other writers who are writing a story?
YES. Don't be cliche. If you are, do it well.
Anything specific you wanna say to your readers?
Yes, I wanna say a massive thank you to everyone who has been with me through my inconsistent updates and retarded author's notes and...thank you.
What do you want to say to writers with their books on hold?
I'm with you people. I feel your pain.
