Scott's P.O.V
We finally arrive to the diner. I was actually quite impressed. It looked like a stereotypical fancy restaurant. Vincent opened his door and then went around the car to open the door for me. I blushed a bit and stepped out.
"Don't forget to lock the car." I say, he nods and the car beeps. I grab the button keys from his grasp and push the button about ten more times in rapid motion. "Just in case." I explain to Vincent who's staring at me oddly.
Vincent's P.O.V
I can't help but laugh at him. Everyday I'm able to find something new about him. He looks flustered and looks down at the ground. I look at his hand, it looks a little empty. I slide my hand into his, intertwining our fingers in the process.
"V-Vincent... there's people..." Scott says, looking around self-consciously. Indeed people were staring at us. So let's give them a show~
"Let them watch," I answer back as I peck him quickly. He begins blushing hard and so are the people around us. A kid walking with her parents suddenly takes out her phone and begins texting rapidly as her nose bleeds. We continue to walk inside. The waiter at the checkout seems to notice as well. Scott can't look him in the eye, and I just smirk. I tell him my reservations and he shows us to our table. Sadly, I have to let go of Scott's hand to sit opposite sides of him. But that does stop me from entangling my legs into his. A waitress comes by and takes our order, Scott stutters the whole time. It's fun teasing him~
Scott's P.O.V
Why is Vincent making this a living hell?!?!?!?!
Every time I want to yell at him, he just smiles at me cutely. And I can't get mad. As we're waiting, I can't help but awe over the interior of this place. Tables were polished clean, seats felt like clouds, the carpets were clean and red, everyone here is dressed so nicely...
But the most pretty thing in this restaurant is the man sitting in front of me.I blush at the thought and try to change the subject.
"So Vincent, how were you able to even book this place? It looks extremely busy, I'm surprised we didn't have to wait for months!" I laugh nervously, I talk too much when I'm nervous.
"Oh I have contacts," Vincent says, he glances behind him and points a thumb in that direction. "Look, there they are."I look over and notice that two of the waiters look oddly familiar. When they start getting closer, I realize that it's Mike and Jeremy! My mouth is agape as I look at the two fellow workers, but a dark thought pops into my head.
"Wait... if there working here, does that mean..?"
"Yep. Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria closed." Vincent responds, already knowing what I was going to ask.To be honest, I feel a little sad. Although the place was deemed inhumane, it was still a place where kids could go to have fun. Although a lot of things happened...
I look over at Vincent. My mind feels like it's going numb. I remember what he's done, and if I'm still capable to dating a murderer..."Scotty, you okay?" Vincent asks, his smooth voice entering my thoughts. I look up at him, my eyes begin to sting.
"Did it close... because of me?" I asked. I felt a breath of relief wash over me as I was finally able to say it.
"No... no it's not your fault," He says, looking at me concerned. "That place should have closed down years ago."
"True..."The atmosphere was awkward, and silent. That wash of relief was now becoming a stab of regret. Vincent grabs my hand, I look at him with teary eyes. I don't want it to be my fault... kids were so happy there...
"Scott, I love you."
Vincent's face goes soft. His eyebrows lower and his broad shoulders slump. He's smiling now, and just as he does, the light behind him turns on, illuminating the smile even more.
"I love you. I love you so much, *you're the choice I made before I knew what the other options were."
My heart flutters against my chest. I want to kiss him. But there's people...
Let them watch.
That's right. Just let them watch, because right now they can't stop this feeling in my heart. Because our love is still love, no matter the gender. I should be allowed to kiss my boyfriend whenever and wherever, as long as I make it true. I grab his tie and pull him closer. His eyes widen as I kiss him softly, our hands still intertwined."I love you too."
Suddenly, the waitress is there with our drinks, she's blushing madly. But smiling. See? Someone can accept us. Desmond does, Mike does, Jeremy does...
"Th-Thank you." Vincent stutters, his face blushed. He can't look at me clearly, and looks like a high school girl. I snicker at his response.
Vincent's P.O.V
Our food arrives shortly, and it tastes great! It's like nothing I've ever tasted before. I'm so glad to be alive~ <3
Well, it's not just because of the food...I can't believe I said something like that though. It just came out of my mouth before I could stop it. I couldn't stop my true feelings coming out, but he loved it. In fact... he ki-kiss... kissed me. I blush redder than a tomato and hide my face in my hands.
I can officially say that this is the best date I've ever had.
And it was with Scott~{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}{~}
Author's Note:
I'm fangirling so hard right now.
Yeah, I know in the picture Vincent's wearing a white tux, but this picture was just perfect so...
Also, the * I placed was because I wanted you guys to know that I didn't make that quote. In fact, it's from someone I'm really inspired by, and that's Shane Koyczan. So if you want to use this quote then you can, just make sure to credit him.
I'm really happy about this chapter, if feels so fluffy! I hope you guys enjoyed it, but I think I might be a little stuck now on ideas. I'll try to think of something~- ThatOneFanfictioner
