It had been 4 years since Will came from back from The Upside Down. It had also been 4 years since Eleven so called 'died'.
Ever since the traumatic event, everyone had drifted away from each other. Things had changed.
Mike grew up to be a heartthrob, but he never knew. He had also gotten a girlfriend, Lisa Wearing. Mike only considered her as his girlfriend, because he thought maybe another person could make him feel the same way El made him feel. But, he knew no-one could replace her. Nobody.
Puberty did Dustin good. Some of his teeth had grown out, and his hair was now just long,fluffy, soft locks on the top of his head. He was still single. He didn't have time for dating, since his only interest was getting chocolate pudding from the lunch ladies.
Lucas. Lucas Sinclair was known for being the most athletic boy in the whole of Hawkins High School. He was also infamous for having that boyish charm and always flirting with every girl he caught sight with.
Will Byers never really changed. But he suddenly started throwing up slugs. Of course he didn't know the cause. He didn't want to tell anyone. Will thought if he did, everyone will leave him and look at him in disgust. He thought it was just a short term symptom for being in the Upside Down for a while. Still, 6 years on it continues.
