Max approached the biggest tree in the park, a gentle smile graced her lips. The pleasant wind was like a music of old memories to her. She touched the tree, tracing old drawings that she and her dad did on that very tree long ago.

Slowly, she frowned reminding herself that her dad left her.

As El read the book, she stuttered. She could read, but she couldn't read the simple words. Mike helped and felt sorry that she couldn't read easy words.

"I'm...a...big...girl....now.", she smiled up at Mike after she had finished reading the childrens' book.

"That was great El! You're learning.", Mike smiled.

Without noticing, the two gazed into each other's dark eyes.

Mike admired everything about her, from the way the breeze blew her hair to the softness in her voice. To him she looked like some kind of water sprite. Slowly, the air grew thick with a tenderness that couldn't help but make him breathe slower, deeper, happier. Someone was after his heart yet again.

"Um... I need to go and see my mom later night, so I have to leave. Thanks for reading with me though. Bye.", Eleven lied.

"Bye. See you later.", replied Mike.

Hastily, El got up from the basement couch and left the house, leaving Mike on his own.

Slowly, Eleven walked down Maple Street not knowing where to go. Since, she lied about seeing her mom later.

El stopped to admire a place she hadn't come across before. What the teenagers in Hawkins called: The Wall.

On the wall -that has been crumbling these past twenty years- Eleven sat, letting her eyes roam over the graffiti. With the finger of her right hand she felt the cracks and the pits made by so many seasons of hail and rain.

Suddenly, someone poked her shoulder. She jumped and quickly turned around greeted by the face of Levi Miller.

He saw the shock registered on her face before she could hide it. A small smile played on his lips making El feel a little more relaxed.

"Hey, what are you doing here?", he asked.

"I just stumbled across this place. It looked interesting."
