"Welcome to another day of hell! Well, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I've got some news. We are going to go on a residential trip to Dunewood Campground.", announced the head.

"Therefore, I expect perfect behavior. The boys are going to be split from the girls. And I'm doing this for your own good. I don't anyone messing around."

"Any problems?", no-one answered.

"What I thought.", he said before leaving the classroom.

As Eleven looked out of the window, she saw the road. It was like a tarmac ribbon; albeit, one that had been worn over time. A white line ran down the center, relatively unbroken compared to the scarred and potholed concrete.
As she looked closer, she saw a man in a black car wearing grey suit. She had a vague memory of the same person. But ignored it thinking it was just nothing.

Slowly, drowsiness took over her eyes. As her head lolled onto Mike's shoulder, her eyelids finally slipped closed; Mike smiled. The rest of her slowly leaned into him, the rest of her body went limp. He could finally see her sleep. She looked so vulnerable and childlike.

El's slumber was interrupted by the booming voice of Coach Macantash. "Move it losers!", he screamed before blowing his whistle again.

"We've not got all day!", he added.

Soon enough, everyone was lined up. Girls on one side and boys on the other.

"Right. First things first. Rules."said Coach Macantash.

"Rule number one. Speak respectfully, when someone asks you to do something or tells you their opinion, don't respond with "whatever." and treat them the way you'd want to be treated."

"Rule number two. Respect others' property, ask before borrowing something, instead of taking it without permission and do not take anything from my cabin."

"Rule number three. Speak honestly. Be honest, but do it in a kind manner."

"Rule number four. There is zero tolerance for drug and alcohol abuse. The rules laid out in this policy apply to all students. Any misconduct in relation to alcohol and drugs will be dealt with in relation to the disciplinary policy."

"And finally, rule five. No sex. Anyone caught engaging in sexual intercourse, will have to hit the road."

"Is that all clear?", he said rubbing his hands together.

No response. "Good. Now, let's get going shall we?", Coach Macantash added before leading everyone to their cabins.

El was put in a cabin with Max, Tiffany and Melissa (part of Tiffany's pósse).

Their cabin was long and narrow, perhaps only twelve feet wide at the front, but it stretched some thirty feet back like a giant shoe box. It was two stories high and had a one story extension at the rear for the kitchen. The wooden framed sash windows were propped open with sticks and the brick work. Also, it included 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

"Jane! Nice to see you here!", exclaimed Tiffany from behind El.

"Oh, hi. What are you doing here?", she replied.

"I'm sharing this dump with you silly! Oh, and we're sharing it with that weirdo Max too."

"Who's that?"

"No-one you should care about. Ugh, I'm exhausted. Mellisa, take my bags to our room. I need some beauty sleep. Oh and Jane,"

El turned he head after looking around.

"Chow!", Tiffany said before entering the cabin.

Soon after, a girl with red hair and blue eyes approached El.

"Uh, Jane right?", she said.

"Yeah.", Eleven replied.

"Max. Nice to meet you.", she stuck out her hand for El to shake.

"By the way, try not to get in my way. But you're already on my good side so that won't be a problem.", Max added before walking into the cabin too.

El sighed and did the same.
