Ricks POV
Before I got a chance to say something, she walked through the portal. I sighed and walked to the wall. I hit my head against the wall hoping that the physical pain would block the mental pain out.
Bird Person came over to me and placed his hand/wing (idk lol) on my shoulder.
"I always do this to her. I don't treat her well..." Tears fell from my eyes. I couldn't believe what she was doing to me. I couldn't believe what I was doing to her.
"You should go find her Rick and apologize." He said.
I wiped my eyes and stood up.
"You love her Rick. You haven't fell in love in a long time. She's special, treat her that way." BP said.
"Thanks BP." I smiled to him. He smiled too.
I shot a portal and bid farewell to Bird Person.
Now where is she?
Your POV
Tears fell from my face as I thought about Rick. He's such a dick. Why was I still here.
A green portal opened up near me and Rick stepped out. He looked at me. I turned around and tried to run but he grabbed me.
All I could do was cry. I cried into his shirt hugging him.
"Why?" I asked while sobbing.
"I'm sorry. Please don't ever leave me Y/N. Your the only person I've loved in a while." He looked into my eyes. Tears in his eyes.
"I love you too much to leave but you don't know how bad I want to let go of you." I said looking into his eyes. Both of our eyes were red and tearing. I moved my hands up to caress his face.
"I can't leave you. No matter what. I'm addicted to you." I said.
"I'm addicted to you too." He said and with that we kissed lovingly.
"I love you. I'm so sorry, I promise you from now on I'll only treat you well." He said.
I smiled, "It's okay."
We hugged and kissed again.
"Let's do something." Rick suggested after we both were okay.
"Like what?" I asked. He took my hand in his and we started walking down the street together.
"What do you want to do?" He said and kissed my cheek. I smiled because I knew he was trying but inside I was laughing.
I giggled and Rick looked at me confusingly. I smiled, "I'm hungry."
Rick pulled out his phone.
"What do you want to eat?" He asked.
"Chinese."
"Alright." He typed it in and found a place. We headed towards the place.
"Rick, you don't have to try so hard." I said.
"What do you mean?" He said.
"I love you for who you are. Don't change." I said.
"But I thought you wanted me to." He said.
"I just want you to know that I have feelings. Don't hurt me. That's all I ask." I said.
"I won't hurt you. I promise." He said. I smiled and he smiled too.
We made it to the Chinese restaurant and found a place to sit. We looked at the menu and ordered some food. I was afraid to eat it since it could have some weird alien stuff in it but it was actually pretty good. Maybe even better than Chinese food on earth.
"Now what do you want to do?" Rick asked.
"I just wanna go home and sleep." I said.
"Aw c'mon lets do something else." Rick whined.
"Fine fine. Let's watch a movie." I said. We found movie theatre and decided to watch an action movie involving some alien and a human working together to take down the puppy army. Weird. We got some candy and got our seats.
Ricks POV
The movie was starting to get really boring. I looked over at Y/N who fell asleep. I smiled. She is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I would do anything to keep her.
I picked Y/N up and found a place for us to stay the night. I placed her on the bed and went to the other side. I climbed into the bed too but I didn't fall asleep. I kept thinking about her.
"Rick." I heard.
I looked to Y/N. She was awake.
"Thank you for today." She said. I smiled and kissed her forehead. I pulled her closer to me and wrapped my arms around her. We fell asleep quickly.
