My world...

A short trip.

Next day after school i met him at the same bridge. The was rough, with Mary's questions mom's anxiety which she tried to hide from me but it was obvious i just couldn't wait till that moment. He said we were going somewhere. He didn't say where. I was sitting at the edge of the bridge looking to the roads wondering where we might go. But since i had the whole day free i didn't really care. Then his voice interupt my thoughts. -You are already here! Wow! he said.I stood up and approached him slowly. - The faster we start the sooner we will be there. he stert walking and i followed him. - Umm, yeah i guess, but..... try to enjoy the trip to our destination. i mean, you've heard the saying: What matters isn't your destination but your trip till there. Just enjoy the trip. i looked him in the eyes. Of course i have heard the saying before but i never understood it. -Ok. then i took a minute and... Did he say trip? How far were we going? - What do you mean trip? How far is it? Ed, where are we going? he frowned and bit his lip. - I told you. You are going to meet my world, my friends. -Yeah and that's the only thing i really know. I mean where do they leave? How old they are? And ..... you said your friends live near to us. You said they live in your birthtown.... Ed, where were you born? he took a minute leaving me waiting for an anwser. I was so curious i looked him without even blinking. Ed was looking down to the ground as he was searching for a hole to put his head in. - Um, you have a really good memory because my birthtown is near us. We are at Ohaio... -We are at Ilnoi. Ohaio is two states away. - Oh yeah, sorry i get confused sometimes since i have lived in every state of US.... Anyway, we are in Ilnoi, i was born at New Jearsy. I was socked.He was so far from his home. I felt bad for him. - Ok. Where are we going to meet your friends? Ohaio or they will come here? - Actually we are going there. My heart stopped bitting for three seconds since i couldn't breath. It came to me as a sock. We were going to New Jearsy?? No way... -Ed that's thousand kilometres away. - One thousand and two hunderent kilometres actually. - Exactly! How are we... - With the plane, it will take us only four hours. We will be there around 6:30 to 7:00pm. - Ed this is too far away. You said it is near, my mom will freak out. - And you said your mom hasn't accept your fathers death. The only way for you to move on is to take your time away from people with these kind of problems. Moreover, the more you delay our leaving the later we will return. I smilled he had so many arguments that i couldn't do anything else. Yes, i didn't know him much but he was clever and i trust clever people. - Ok smart guy lets go to the other side of the state. i said and smilled.

Five hours later we were walking at New Jearsy's streets. Who could tell that one day i would travell to New Jearsy wuthout anyone knowing. Not even Mary. I was surprised by the streets the neighbourhoods the stores the buildings everything was different here. I hav enever been to New York even it is reatively close.  My dad and i were planning to visit NYC one day but he died before we did.  Anyway i don't know about New York but New Jearsy was a dream town. Everything was perfect. As we walked down the streets i couldn't help smilling and staring at every building like i have never seen a building before. - Um, it's not that nice. said Ed who noticed i haven't stopped smilling since th e moment i set foot on New Jearsy. - You are right. It is amazing! Ed laughed. - Wait untill you see the rest, the better part of it. Especially in a few hours that it will be dark. - What do you mean better? This simply can NOT get any better. - Oh but it can. Now come on. Let's go to find my buddies.

Twenty minutes later we walked in a cafe named The ally. -So this is your whereabout? i asked Ed. - No that's just a cafe. We approached a group of kids that seemed to be in our age. When we reached their table they were laughing loudly. Ed put his hands on one's  guy back and he turned quickly obviously surprised. When he saw him he smilled and hugged him. -Hey, Ed you made it! the guy said. - I told you i would! said Ed and hugged the rest of them. After the welcomes and the comments about the long time no see Ed turned his head searching for me. When he saw i haven't moved not even a step from where he left me he approached me and smilled trying to make me feel more comfortable. Then he pushed me gentle closer to his friends table. - Guys this is Anna, my new friend from Ilnoi. Anna these are my friends. George-- he said pointing the guy he hugged first. He was tall he had brown eyes and brown hair. He was in shape as well as Ed and, as it seemed, as the rest of the group. --Filip-- he said pointing out a guy who was holding in his arms a girl. He was short, a bit, he had black hair in which he had brown highlights. His eyes were green and his skin was instead of Ed it was pure white.-- Joahana-- the blond hair girl that Filip was holding. She was as tall as Filip and her eyes were blue. Her skin was white so her and Filip were the perfect combination.-- Last but not least, there was  Daniel--   his eyes were black, seriously black! and his skin was soft brown. His hair were black. He really made the difference. -Nice to meet you guys! i said smilling brightly as to make a good impression. - Nice to me you too, Anna! said George. He seemed a really nice and friendly guy.

The time passed and it soon was dark outside. After a long conversation about me and my hobbies George start saying to me things about Ed as a child. Ed seemed really embarrassed and tried to stop George many times but he didn't stopped no matter what. Suddently Ed iterupt him and talked to the whole group. - Guys, Anna asked me if that is our whereabout. Everyone laughed at that point. - Of cource i told her it's not, but.... what do you thing? Should we saw her our whereabout? Then everybody stopped talking till they all said: Sure, yeah, Why not?

It was around eight when we were walking down the allies. - Where are we going? i asked once more. - You know Anna since the day i met you, you are always asking the destination. I thought i told you to enjoy the trip. - Ed since the day i met you, we go to places i have never been before. First st the bridge. Now in New Jearsy!! One thousant and two hundrent kilometres away from home. Right now we are heading to your whereabout which is, who knows where?!! I think i have the right to be afraid. Ed looked at me in the eyes with a spark of excitment in them.  -Well, of cource you do. People are always afraid of new things. But you don't have to anymore, because we are here. he said. We were in front of a abandonded flat. We went up the stairs to the 29th floor. To the roof. The view was spectacular!
