The Capitol got overthrown.

We now have a democracy government.

President Snow died.

The Hunger Games are over.

Well sort of.

The new democracy government decided to have a last hunger games, Katniss Everdeen aka Mocking-jay and Peeta Mellark, voted yes, after much consideration. So the last hunger games they decided will be all children from the capitol pretending to be from districts 1-13 which will train and then fight to the death.

Today is reaping day.

My name is Die-Anna, the district that I'm pretending to be is District 12, so my mentor is Haymitch Abernathy (who is drunk right at the moment) and my escort is Effie Trinket (who looks like she is a very nice and kind lady).

The district people think that we Capitol are very dumb and clueless but I don't know why they think that, because we are actually smart and we are the best because we live in the best place in the world, called the "Capitol".

"Welcome, Welcome to the last hunger games ever".

Effie booms as she keeps talking

"Let's begin this year by doing things different, we will first call up the boy tribute, then the girl tribute, the boy tribute is wow!! Melvin Snow, the late president Snow's grandson. Contrasts to you Melvin and good luck. Now we pull the girls tribute for District 12 the girl tribute is. Oh no, it can't be"

Effie says in a not so strong voice, now Effie is crying, but why??

"I'm sorry that I'm crying but the girls tribute is my daughter, Die-Anna Trinket"

My heart has dropped, I Die-Anna trinket have been chosen to be tribute. Now I see why Effie is crying, because I am her only child. Now I have started to cry and the tears are too much to hold back.
