Dan Howell - First child together

You look around the hospital room, you always associated hospitals with misery, death and injury but looking down at the tiny but perfect baby in the cot beside you, you total outlook of a hospitals and even life has changed completely. Since meeting Dan Howell your life has been on big rollercoaster but you wouldn't change it for the world.

"Mia Howell" you say letting the name roll of your tongue with a grin

Like reacting to your voice Mia opens her big brown eyes, just like her fathers, she punches out two tiny, red fists from under blanket that is swaddling her. Mia starts to scrunch up her face as it goes red, she opens her mouth and lets a big wail fly out of it. You reach down and gently pick up ignoring the way your body is groaning in protest, she was definitely worth it all.

You think about when you were pregnant and you support Mia's head and body perfectly, you and Dan were both panicking about not have much experience with baby's so you wasn't sure how you were going to look after a new born baby but you had both settled into it as soon as Mia was born and although sometimes you had some unconfident moments but you were doing a lot better than you suspected and Dan is amazing with her. The only thing with Dan si that he forgets Mia isn't used to loud noises so to her his voice is very loud and he forgets this and speaks loudly which scares her but he will learn that over time.

You rock Mia in your arms as you look down at her and soak all her features in, a perfect button nose, big brown eyes, dark brown hair, big lips and long, dark eyelashes. Perfect doesn't even begin to describe Mia and it still baffles you how she is half of you, Dan you can understand because he is perfect but not you...

The door creaks open and in tiptoes Dan with someone behind him.

"Hi, we have a visitor" he grins excitedly looking lovingly from you to Mia

"Oh I wonder who it could be" you tease sarcastically but with a big smile. It Is Phil of course.

Phil came with Dan to the hospital a number of hours ago, everything happened rather quickly so Dan wasn't with you right from the start of the labour you were on your own and Phil was with Dan so he naturally came with him and was sat waiting for the good news for hours. You had to force Dan to pry himself away from you and Mia eventually to go and get him because Dan is all over us showering us with kisses and hugs.

You raise an eyebrow and giggle when you don't actually see Phil, most of his body is covered with an over sized teddy bear and a large amount of balloons, mostly pink of course. It really was a wonder how with that amount helium Phil hadn't flown away. Dan walks to your side with an amused shrug before pressing his lips to yours softly, he think he is going to break you because you are slightly weaker than normal so he is taken extra precautions.

"Uncle Phil, this is your god-daughter" Dan grins as Phil drops everything in his arms and walk over to the bed where he pears over at Mia with a loving look in his eyes

"She is so god damn cute!" Phil gushes rubbing his index finger gently over he slightly chubby cheeks.

"Mia Rose Howell" you add with a grin "Want to hold her?" you question and Phil just nods numbly lowering himself in the arm chair beside you bed, you pass Mia to Dan who reaches down and places her gently in his arms, Dan actually looks on edge like Phil is going to drop her so you just shake your head at him and laugh quietly so he comes and sits on the edge of your bed

"What, I worry about both my girls!" he chuckles continuing to look down at Mia carefully

"You make good kids, she is beautiful" Phil sighs not taking his eyes off of her

"Yeah, she looks like Dan right?" you ask but Dan frowns

"I thought we had agreed she is beautiful which means she looks like you" Dan smirks

Smooth Howell

Phil reaches out and pulls the bear that is on the floor to him, he picks up the paw which is probably bigger than Mia's head and puts it near her hands, tickling her with it

"I got you this, you can call him... bear..um" he starts awkwardly but his lights up when she tries to grasp it in her hands the best she can

"Look!" Phil exclaims quietly looking up at you and Dan

"I love you Y/N" Dan mumbles kissing your knuckles gently

"I love you too Mr Dan Howell" you say back
