It's been a week since David's accident and he's still in the hospital. He didn't know that his friend was drunk and he let him drive. His friend killed 3 people in the accident. David is doing better but they feel that they should still monitor him. I've been trying to help David's family as much as I can. When David and I were dating, I grew really close to his mother. I make his family food, go grocery shopping for them, and things like that.
Ian has really helped me through all of this. I have awful anxiety, so the nights that I just break down he lets me cry on his shoulder. Hes been staying over to help me with cooking and he tells me when I need to slow down and just rest. I'd never have thought Ian would be my biggest support system through this. It's strange though, with all this time we're spending together I've grown to like Ian in a different way. I'm not saying I'm in love with him or anything. I just think I like him differently than I used to.
"Scar?" Ian walked into my room.
"Yes, Ian." I sat up.
"I think we could both use a nap. Why don't we pop in a movie and I'll keep you warm until you fall asleep." Ian looked through movies.
"Okay, I don't see why not. I am pretty tired." I got up and turned off the light.
"Well I know you love High School Musical so let's watch the last one." Ian laughed putting it in.
"Aw how sweet of you. I can't wait to see the tears in your eyes by the time they graduate." I joked.
(Ian's P.O.V)
I looked at Scar who had already fallen asleep. She's been so stressed lately, I just want to make her happy. Just a small smile. That's all she needs. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. I grabbed my phone and dialed Anthony's number. He didn't answer but I could hear his ring tone coming from the other room. I wonder what he's doing here. I walked to Haley's room a peeked through the door.
"Holy! Shit!" I whispered. Anthony and Haley are having sex! I didn't even know they liked each other in any way. I have to wake up Scar!
"Scar! Scar! Wake up!" I shook her.
"What? What is it Ian?" She opened her eyes.
"Haley and Anthony are having sex in the other room!! Did you know they liked each other enough to bone?!" I said still shocked.
"Well last week I saw them almost kiss but I never thought that well ya know." Scar sat up.
"We should leave. Let's get lunch and go to your favorite store or something. They don't know that we know, they're having sex. So we should just get out." I said throwing her some things she might use to get ready.
"You're right and that actually sounds really fun." She smiled. Finally a small smile, that's what I've wanted to see this last week. That twinkle in her eyes when she's happy, her pearly white teeth. Wow! She's actually really.....beautiful. What the hell am I thinking?! Well I just think she's pretty, there's nothing wrong with that. I've always thought she's pretty. Before I knew it she was back from the bathroom and as beautiful as ever.
"I'll give you a piggy back ride to the car and I'm driving." I kneeled so she could jump on my back.
She laughed and jumped on. "Let's go horsey!"
"Okay so what store do you want to go to first?" I asked as we walked around the mall.
"Uhhh..I wan.." Someone cut her off before she could answer.
