I wake up sore as hell, I had no clue that I had that kind of rage in me. I roll over and groan in pain. 

"Today's going to be interesting."

I get out of bed and head over to the bathroom to complete my morning routine.
Brush my teeth, wash my face then sit in a face mask while I cook egg whites and toast.
Yeah my life is pretty mundane, I've always lived alone , was better that way. No distraction no disruption. But lately my house hasn't felt like a home, it's felt pretty empty, it was miss something... missing somebody. 

My eggs are finish so I turn off the stove and put them off to the side so I could wash the face mask off. 

I sit down to eat.

*buzz buzz* *buzz buzz*
I pick it my phone, I usually don't get calls this early, the caller ID reads Nicholas Espinoza. So I pick up the phone.
"Nicky ?" I question.

"Yeah it's me Franky, good morning."

I'm curious to why he called "Same to you, what's going on, how's your morning."

"Good, haha did you forget about what we talked about last shift?"

It all comes rushing back to me, I told him that we'd catch up, " oh yeah, im sorry Nicky I was hit pretty hard but I remember, I promised you we catch up."

"Yeah and I'm holding you to that."he laughed. "How's lunch I know that great place, I know you haven't really been anywhere so it's the perfect opportunity to get to know the city."

Well he's not lying, I barely go anywhere, I should really change that.

"Okay you hooked me nick but I'm paying."

"Not if I get to the bill first." He said and I could just see the smirk on his face even through the phone.

"Yeah yeah yeah, that would have to imply that your fast or something." I make a snarky come back.
