Burned

This poem is based on the heroic story of a woman who met a guy over an internet dating site, and he burned her face with boiling hot water that he threw out of a mug.

It's supposed to be jumbled up, as if a way to show how confusing the time was, but despite all the confusion, and the tears, it continued to burn.

He threw the mug,

Slow, slow, slower than usual,

But, thrown the mug was,

And directly at her face,

Came the water,

The boiling water,

The water that would ruin,

What seemed to be a near perfect,

Lifes,

And everybody cried,

Because everything she had,

Was gone,

Gone, gone, more gone than usual,

The tears came bursting,

And her face,

It was melting,

She cried,

But nothing would change the fact,

Slow, slow, slower than usual,

Everything she had,

Cry, cry, cry more than usual,

She cried over and over,

It was all gone,

Because the water,

Burned.
