AHHHH HERE WE GO
(Im probably hyping this up too much it's honestly probably not that good but I tried hard)

I woke up after a nice nap next to Asami. We had fallen asleep right after breakfast. Asami was still fast asleep. I checked the time, it was 10:26. I was still a little sleepy, but I didn't want to sleep the day away. So I laid back down and just stared at the ceiling.

I felt Asami moving, I assumed she was waking up now. She just snuggled closer to me and wrapped her arm around my stomach. I smiled to myself.

She's beautiful. So adorable.

I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer. She smiled in her sleep.

I sat there for a while, letting Asami sleep. She works too hard, and she's still in high school. She needs her rest.

I keep thinking about Asami. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help it. I'm falling for her, faster than I should.

But I know that she doesn't like me like that and she never will.

...But...there's something I don't get.

Even if she did ever like me in that way, I'm not sure I would be able to date her.

I used to date this one guy, Tahno. He cheated on me multiple times, and I forgave him each time, even though he never really apologized.

He also was a little....aggressive.

He hit me a few times. But I never really said anything.

One day, he cheated on me, yes, but it was with my best friend, Kya, and she was the one who comforted me every time Tahno cheated on me. I broke up with him right then and there.

I've had some trust issues since then, and I don't want to be mean and assume but how can I be sure Asami won't do the same thing?

It doesn't matter though, she won't ever like me like that.

Asami began to stir, which pulled me from my thoughts.

"Hey." I said quietly. She looked at me and smiled. "Hi." Her voice was croaky.

She shifted herself so she was level with me. She snuggled up to me and nuzzled her head under my chin.

I blushed. "Morning sleepy head."

She laughed a little. "Morning."

She took her head out from under my chin and faced me. "How'd you sleep?"

I smiled. "Good. You?"

"Good." She sighed contently.

She leaned forward and kissed my nose. I blushed again, hoping she didn't see.

But of course, she did.

"Korra, you ok? You look a little red. Really red actually." My eyes widened a little and I shook my head. "I'm good." I managed to say.

Asami kissed my forehead, then my left cheek, then my right cheek, then my chin, my nose again, and lastly both my eyelids.

I could feel my face heat up. I felt like my face was on fire, I'm surprised it wasn't actually.

She pulled away and got up out of the bed.

Asami walked to her closet and began looking for clothes. I sat up, still flustered by what happened a few seconds ago.
