To The Fair

I KNOW I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A WHILE SO HERE'S A LONG LONG CHAPTER FOR YA! 😀

Today there was a fair going on near me and my friends offered me to go with them. I didn't have anything to do so i accepted to go. I got up and took a shower.  After the shower, I began getting dressed because they'll be here any minute. I put on a black long sleeve with the word 'swaggin' on the front and a pair of light skinny jeans. I put on my Nikes and grabbed my iPhone off the charger as I made my way down stairs. I stopped to look in my full body mirror to see if I looked decent.

  I was interrupted by a horn so i quickly grabbed my house keys off the key rack and locked the door as I headed to the gray van parked outside. I opened the door to see my best friend driving, her sister (tiff) in the passenger side, and her "brother" because they grew up together and is practically brother and sister.  I smiled and said hey as I hopped in.

"We have to stop by my friend Blake's house, he's wanting to go" Shelly said pulling out off my drive way and heading to Blake's house. Whose Blake and why haven't I heard about him yet? I only knew one other person we hangout with, his name was Taylor.  He moved here from Indiana about 3 years ago and he became mine and Shelley's best friend. 

We soon pulled into the driveway to a beautiful light blue house. Then a blonde haired boy ran towards the van. He didn't look to old , maybe about my age.

He opened the door and smiled at everyone. "Hey,  how's everyone? he said shutting the door as he sat right beside me. Everyone said good and we went in our way to the fair grounds.

He soon noticed I was sitting beside him and just looked at me for a few seconds before speaking. "Hey, have we met before?" He asked raising an eyebrow. 

"Um,  I don't think so" I said smiling. "Oh ok, I'm Blake Gray nice to meet you" he said as he held out his hand for me to shake. I took his hand and shook it " Y/N, nice to meet you, too!" and let go of his hand as I finished.

We carried on the conversation until we got the fair. I looked out toward all the rides and thought there's no way were gonna ride all of those in just one night. They all looked fun so I decided I might come back tomorrow and ride the others I didn't get to.

We got out of the van and walked over to the ticket booth to buy our wrist bands. After we purchased our bands we decided to split up and ride whatever rides we wanted to but meet at the ferris wheel close to the end of the fair.

I had rode a couple rides already and was waiting to get on my next ride when I seen Blake just walking around. I quickly jumped out of line and walked up to him getting his attention as I did. "Hey, have you rode any rides yet?" I asked curiously.  "Ugh, no not yet" he said looking around. "Why not?" I asked looking at the ride I was wanting to get on as the line shortened.  "I don't wanna get on a ride by myself " he said looking down at me.

"I'll ride with you! Wanna come on this ride with me?" I said pointing to a ride called scrambler.  "Sure" with that I grabbed his wrist and pulled him up to the gate with me. After waiting about 5 minutes the current ride finished and they allowed us to proceed through the gate.

We sat in a cart together as everyone came in and found a cart to get in. We waited for the conductor to come lock the carts. He finished latching everyone's lock on their carts and made his way back to the box to start the ride.

The ride began, within the first 5 minutes Blake starting screaming because he thought the cart was gonna fly off. Throughout the whole ride Blake screamed and I couldn't help but laugh.  It was priceless. The ride ended and we exited the ride.  We walked around a bit before I found another interesting ride. It was called round up, it looked very exciting but sadly Blake didn't want to ride it. I constantly kept begging for him to get on it with me until he finally gave in.

We stood in the line and waited for our turn. The ride finally ended and we got in standing beside each other. We latched the chains in front of us as the conductor came to check everyone's chain was latched correctly.

Once everyone was latched in properly the conductor got off the ride and started it. Blake and I grabbed the bars as the ride began to speed up a bit.  Blake get comfortable with it just turning so he let go of the bars. 

Then all of a sudden one side of the ride started to tilt upward and he quickly grabbed for bars. When grabbed for the bar, he had grabbed where my hand was.  He noticed he had grabbed my hand but he left his hand there not minding to move it. I just smiled to myself and enjoyed the rest if the ride.

We finally got off the ride and decided to ride a few more before having to meet up with everyone else. As we got off the last ride,  we walked toward the ferris wheel. A 2 minute walked ended up turning into a 10 minute walked because Blake constantly wanted to goof and play around.

We finally made it to the others as they we're helping people off.  I sat with Blake, Shelly sat with her brother (Jasper), and her sister sat with some random cute guy with light blue eyes. The ride went up slowly at first as others we're getting on the ride below.

Blake and I finally made it to the top! "Wow, this view is so beautiful! " I say looking out across the country as the sun was setting behind the mountains. "Yea, it is" Blake said pulling out his phone and taking a picture . He then flipped the camera and told me to smile but I covered my face. "Awe, please just take ONE picture with me" he said play pouting.

He kept begging so I gave in and ended up taking about three with him. In one he got me laughing and the others didn't look to bad.

Soon the fair had ended, Shelly took everyone back home. Once she dropped me off, I ran upstairs to my room and jumped on my bed as I pulled out my phone. I had a notification saying that I had been tagged in a photo on Instagram so I went to look at it.

It was one of the photos Blake had took of us and of course it had to be the one where I was laughing. I really didn't mind though it was actually a pretty good photo. I scrolled down to see the caption and it read 'Had a great time at the fair today! I got to hang with a very beautiful someone! 💖" I smiled at what he had said and decided to text him.

M~ good , thanks! I was planning in going to the fair again tomorrow, wanna come?

B~ sure

M~ just to be clear it just gonna be me and you 😊

B~ can't wait! 

M~ I'll see you tomorrow! GOODNIGHT! 😴

B~ good night 😝 sweet dreams 💤

I finally fell asleep and couldn't wait for tomorrow!
