Lucy ~ Hey guys!

Liz ~ Lucy, what is it this time?

Blake ~ Hey?

Lucy ~ Liz, I want you to meet Blake!

Liz ~ Hi Blake

Blake ~ Hello Liz, how are you?

Liz ~ I'm great, you?

Blake ~ I'm doing quite well, Thanks!

Lucy ~ Hey! Are y'all going to the Musically party on Friday?

Liz ~ I didn't know they had those

Blake ~ Yea, they have them every year

Blake ~ Yeah, I'm going!

Lucy ~ Great! Liz if you want, you can ride with me

Liz ~ Sure!

We have just arrived at the party,  the party was going on behind this big white building. "we're here!" Lucy yelled, quickly jumping out of the car. "come on, Blake's waiting on us!" I shut the car door as she ran to my side, grabbing my wrist and pulling me along with her.

"Lucy, over here!" I heard someone yell from the other side of the yard. we walked over to him and he smiled at us. "you must be Liz, it was very nice to meet you" he stuck his hand out and i took it, shaking it.

"It was nice to meet you, too" I said, staring at his beautiful blue eyes. He was very cute, he was wearing dark skinny jeans with a yellow stripped shirt that went down to mid-thigh. "So what do we do here anyway?" I asked, considering it was my very first time coming to one of these.

"Just to connect and talk to other Musers. I know a few, I know that kid over there and I know them two" he said, pointing at them. "Now i know you two!" he said, looking back at us.

"Yea. I think your the only person here beside Lucy, that I know" I said, looking around.

"Well, come here then. I'm gonna introduce you to a few" He said as I followed him over to two boys, who looked nearly identical. "Liz, this is the Dobre twins. Marcus, Lucas this is Liz" he said as I shook their hands.

"Hey" They said in unison. "It's a pleasure to meet you" Lucas said. We stood there awhile just talking. Blake had introduced me to a few other people like Ariel, Kristen Hancher, Jacob Sartorius and another set of twins, Lisa and Lena. 

It was about over so we decided that we'd leave and go back to Lucy's place. Lucy and I jumped into the car, heading back to hers. As we pulled into the end of the driveway, Lucy's phone started ringing. 

"It's Blake" She said, before answering the phone and sticking it up to her ear. "Hello?" A confused look appeared on her face. "What? When did this happen?" She looked terrified. "Okay, I'm on my way now!" She ended the call, pulling the car into reverse and backing out onto the road.

"Everything alright?" I asked, worriedly. She didn't answer so asked again. "Lucy, what's wrong?"

She let a tear fall down her cheek. "Blake" She sniffed. "He was in a bad car accident and he's being rushed to the hospital. They called me because I was in his emergency contacts" She said, stopping at a red light. 

"Oh my goodness" I gasped. "I hope he's alright"

We pulled into a park and ran inside, "Blake Gray?" Lucy said, running up to the counter.

"5th floor, Room 498" The lady at the desk said and we thanked her, running towards the elevator.

"498, 498, 498" Lucy said as she ran passed the rooms. "Right here!" She said, running inside. "Blake, oh my gosh! Are you ok?" She ran to the bed, caressing his face. He had a cut on his left brow, a bruise on his right cheek bone and scratches all over him. His nose was bleeding and a small gash on his forehead, which was covered. He had a cast on his left arm and a brace on his neck.

Lucy continued to cry, hovering over his chest. I was watching the heart monitor as it beeped. "Lucy, I'm fine. Please stop crying" I quickly looked down at him. He lifted his left arm and petted her head "Lucy, come on. It's only a few broke bones, I'm fine" She lifted up to look at him.

"Blake, you scared me!" She said, standing up. Suddenly the door opened and a nurse walked in. 

"Hello Mr. Gray.." She looked up from the papers. "Oh, you've got company. Hello ladies" She sat the papers down on the table and started typing something into the computer. We said hello as she continued. "Your parents are here, they're in the waiting room "

"How long do I have to stay?" Blake asked, sitting up in the bed. "I kinda have somewhere to be" He looked over at us.

"you'll be out today, we still need to make sure your insides are fine first though" She said, pointing to his side. He lifted his shirt up, revealing a line of stitches. "you were cut and we had to quickly stitch you up in the ambulance. We want to make sure you didn't harm anything when that happened" He nodded. "I'll be back soon to tell you when you can leave" She said and left.

"Lucy, can I have a minute with Liz?" Liz looked at him for a minute and then nodded, stepping out the door. "um, I'm gonna be completely honest to why I wrecked but you cannot tell Lucy" I nodded, encouraging him to carry on. "I wrecked.... because..um.. because I was thinking of... you and i kinda took my mind off the road" He said, looking straight at me.

"Oh..um. I'm really sorry this happened to you" I can't believe he wrecked thinking of me.

"Liz, I really like you... I was just thinking of how lucky your boyfriend is to have someone as beautiful as you..." he said, looking down at his cast.

"I don't have one" I said and he looked up at me.

"Well,um maybe when I get out..do you maybe ..uh.. wanna go out with me tonight?.."

"Um sure" I'm actually looking forward to tonight already. He's so sweet.

"You can let Lucy back in, if you'd like" he said with the biggest smile spread across his face.

I walked to the door, telling Lucy she could come back in. Lucy and I stayed, talking and giving Blake company and not to mention he's gonna need a ride home.

"Alright Mr. Gray, you are all set to go" the nurse said as she undid the IV. We helped him into a wheelchair and she straightened the bed.

"Thank you" he said as I wheeled him out of the hospital to the car. We went back to Lucy's house and hung around until it was time for our night out.

"You ready?" I asked as he nodded. "Well let's go then" I smiled​ to him and drove to the restaurant of his choice.

We had a nice meal and a great time. Oh and just to let you know, we're now a couple.

*YEAR LATER*

"Happy one year, babe!" Blake said, hugging me from behind as I place the pancakes in the plate.

Blake had his casts taken off a few months ago and he's healed up perfectly. We decided to tell Lucy that we were together a few months after our date, she took it really well.

We had met up with a few of Blake's friends and she liked his friend, Hunter Rowland. They've been together for nearly 3 months now, they're such a lovely couple.

What would I do if I'd never become friends with Lucy or if she had never introduced me to the love of my life?

"Happy anniversary, Love. I love you so so much"
