painting the kitchen

Today I invited Blake to come over because I'm gonna need help to paint this kitchen. I grabbed the paint and the brushes from the garage. I laid the supplies and some tarp down. Soon the doorbell rang, so I answered it to see Blake.

"Hey, ready?" He said excitedly

"Yeah,I have everything already laid out. The brushes are over there and that's pretty much it"

"Alright, let's get started!" He said as he clapped his hand and walked toward the paint.

We grabbed our brushes and began painting. Blake started on a wall and I began working on the one across from him.

"Hey, don't you wanna work over here with me?" Blake asked as I turned to look at him

"Blake your a big boy, you can handle a wall by yourself" I turned back around

I felt a pair of hands lay on my hips and he laid his head in the crease of my neck. "But I want you to come and help me, we can work together" I couldn't help but smile.

I turned to look at his face and started smiling. "Maybe I don't want to work with you" I kept smiling and slowly pushed him away. He walked to a chair and sat down as I continued to paint my side of the wall.

"Ok, fine" Blake crossed his arms as he looked down and started pouting. He was so cute when pouted. I put my brush down and walked over to him.

"Awe don't be so gloomy, I was only playing" I lifted his chin up and he just looked back down.

Well...that didn't work I guess I'll just have to make him look up. I sat down on his lap so I was facing him. He looked up for a few seconds and put his head back down again.

"Blake --" I was cut off when he quickly unfolded his arms and kissed me. I was surprised, definitely wasn't expecting that. I kiss back enjoying the taste of his lips.

As we broke, Blake grinned and slightly laughed. "Gotcha! I bet you were thinking I was really mad at you" Blake said as I pretended to be angry with him. "Why so angry, I was only playing" he said copying me from earlier. I couldn't help but laugh, he so crazy.

"We gotta get this kitchen done, so let's finish it up and I'll take you out for dinner afterwards" I smiled and we finished up the kitchen.
