_____________________________________________________________________________

This story's setting takes place in the early 1400's in Europe and the religion Catholicism is played majority in here. Don't know if that's right or not but if you know it, please comment on it so I could correct it. ;; I don't want to offend anybody who are Catholics.

All stuff written in here are truly fictional. I'm somewhat combining a few stuff together.

NOTE: London, these days, are very rich and populated. But, in the old times, it was considered to be poor and not very populated, considering that the setting is not in London but the surrounding areas of London.

Otherwise, please enjoy and let me know what you think!

Introductory

It was early in the morning and the enormous bell, belonging to the Cathedral, had rung. The bold sounds had echoed and traveled through the air, sending strong sound waves and knocking on people's doors and windows. The sun has rise and the birds were serenading the clouds already. Commoners, merchants, and laborers began to work already. Merchants opened their shops and the foot steps of the commoners were filling up to the atmosphere, emitting off a business like scent.

Opening the door of the one and only Cathedral in the tiny City of London, a young amateur priest stuck his head out, feeling the early morning breeze. He looked down towards his people. The priest himself was no older than 18. He had pure blonde hair, long as a flaming yellow of waterfall. His eyes were cerulean blue and they were huge, giving him almost a child's face. Everyone adored his eyes as well as his milky skin.

It was his big day a few weeks ago, becoming a priest and one of the highest classes on the system that ancient United Kingdom had. Everyone was said that he was granted with the hopes of God's hands, stating that he was the only Child of Hope that was able to become the highest class in the poor tiny town of UK. Every day, practicing his religion in the Cathedral, he promised to himself to never leave the Cathedral and his group of fellow priests.

That promise was kept for months, until he received a letter, stating that his mother was extremely ill and needed to be cured with the only one medicine located in City of London while she was in the town opposite from where the amateur priest lives.

Chapter 1

My name is Akidu and I'm an amateur Catholic priest in the tiny city of London. London here was filled with nothing but poverty and greedy yet selfish people. I could hardly withstand watching the skinny and bony children starve to death. It was against the Cathedral's will and the group of priests that I was in, a broken law.

Us high classes, are forbidden to share our things with the lower classes. It stung me to realized that being a priest is among the high classes. I gripped on my chest and walked through the semi-busy streets of the town, glancing from stall to stall of merchants selling their goods. I wasn't allow to come out of the Cathedral this early but knowing that my mother was ill, I made my choice to run away from this place and live with my mother.

It was against the priests will too, to do such a thing. But, I really rather be with my sick mother than to be with the Cathedral. Tightening my grasped of the cross pendant around my neck, I prayed.

Mother Mary, forgive my sinful actions.

I wasn't allow to be out here, as I stated before but I must retrieve the medicine that was only sold here in this town. I stopped in from of pharmacy. Glancing from my sides and making sure no one knew who I was, I stepped in lowering my head. The pharmacist looked alarmed and leaned close to me to catch a view of my face. I stepped back a bit.

"Allow me to purchase the Remedium." I said softly. The pharmacist stared at me and then turned around to the counter and reached a small bag and placed it down.

"Young one," he said, "This is one expensive medicine." I reached into my inner pockets and took out a few silver coins and placed next to the medicine.

"Kind sir, thank you." I said and quickly grabbed the medicine and jolted away like an unknown stranger. Out of the pharmacy, I saw people running to the entrance of the town. I too, was curious and began to follow them.

Ruckus was heard and footsteps all paddled towards to the main gate. Mumblings, talkings, and even children cries were heard.

"OUT OUT OUT! GET OUT THE WAY!" I heard angry voices spitting. The people moved away and something was carried in. Lowering my head to hide my identity, at the same time, I saw a bloody corpse lying on the wooden plank being dragged in. My body trembled in fear and I closed my eyes to look away from the corpse, praying to Mother Mary.

"Oh my, what happened to him?"

"Oh may God blessed his soul."

"This is the fourth victim isn't it?"

"I think so."

"Why are people so stupid?"

"Oh Mother Mary, blessed his sins."

"I cannot look at this."

"This is too brutal."

"Oh, he might be going to hell for this."

All voices surrounded my ears. With the plank being dragged towards to the Cathedral to begin their funeral ritual, this was my first time seeing something like this. My heart tightened.

"Wait, who commited such sin?" I heard one lady say. Unintentionally, I began eavesdropped their conversation a bit.

"You didn't know?" the other lady replied to her and I turned to looked at the ladies in a distance.

"No, who would do such a thing?" she said.

"Narura, you haven't heard about the rumors of Father of Blood?" the lady replied.

"Sounds horrible but no!" the lady, Narura, said.

"According to what I've been hearing, Father of Blood enjoys to kill. He kills men and rapes women. He eats children." the lady said and I gasped silently in horror. Narura shrieked.

"Oh my goodness! Such horrible actions! May God watch and protect over us!" Narura said and the other lady patted her chest. I widened my eyes in horror too, hearing the rumors about the Father of Blood. Such mankind will be perished.

"Don't ever leave this place." the lady said and her voice caught my attention. "If said to leave this place, Father of Blood with find you and kill you and there will be no return if you leave this town." she stated and Narura blankly stared at her.

Which was horrifying because I must leave this place in order to cure my mother's illness.
