ZYNAH
"Miss Zynah? I've come to tell you lunch is ready" Sarah's voice was heard in the room when I had dug my face into the pillow in silence. Seemingly that she had said lunch, that must mean that I've been in my room for more than two hours, just lying down on the bed on my stomach. I got to say, my body was aching to move.
"Is Nazrudin still here?" I signed to her in caution.
"Yes he is" she signed back.
"Until when?"
Sarah took only a few minutes thinking about it as if she was remembering something then she said, "If I remember correctly, I've been told he'll be staying until he had something to discuss with your parents"
That means he's going to stay until dinner.
Holy power of Allah the good and gracious.
I plopped down onto my bed once more, apathetically staring through the painted stars on the ceiling, silently thinking on how I should avoid seeing him or him seeing me for that matter.
"Miss Zynah? Is there a problem?" Sarah asked as she patted my shoulder worriedly. I must have stayed silent for a long time to have her worried for me.
I didn't bother to answer her when my gears were turning fast to think on how I should avoid him. Goodness gracious, I did not expect to come here at that time. Chris didn't even tell me anything about this for Allah's sake. Curse you Chris you useless cheese butter of butler of our family.
"Where is he now?"
"Who? Sir Nazrudin?"
I nodded my head.
"He's currently at the garden now with Zhafir, along with Chris following"
Good, that means he's outside now. I have around fifteen minutes until lunch is really really really ready and served at the dining hall to think about it.
"Sarah?" I signed.
"Yes miss?" She signed back.
"Can I skip lunch?"
"No because your mother had instructed me to let you eat no matter what"
"No matter what?"
"No matter what" she said sternly.
I flew to my bed once more. I felt the bed linked more as Sarah sat beside me and she asked, "If you need someone to talk to, I'm here. Now what's the matter young lady?"
I kicked my legs mid-air earning a concerned look from my loveable maid whom is loveable to be my sister.
"What's wrong?" She asked and I sat up.
"It's just that I..Naz...umm...you know...he's kinda..this...like..him..." I signed, flustered.
Sarah was quiet for a while and since I was concerned, I took a peek at her.
"You mean you like him?" She asked bluntly and I dove into the sheets once again.
"Oh Zynah...I mean miss, it's okay to like him, nothing's wrong with it, in fact he is quiet a handsome man" she cooed.
I playfully glared at her and signed, "You're not helping"
She chuckled and I stared at the stars on the ceiling. It was breathtaking each time I looked at it.
"However miss, if I do say so myself, I think he took quite an interesting in you"
I snapped my head to her, my face was beginning to engulfed in strong warmth.
