Maarchje is different. Kanan could tell that when he found her walking after a month of being alive. Strange things happen to and around her. Sometimes, she hovers in midair and then falls, crying. Other times, Ezra or Zeb or Sabine start floating and then fall flat on their faces. Kanan first thought that she was having force spasms, but no; there was something else.
Maybe this is what the hybrid is of a human and a twi'lek?
Kanan found wings, dark black wings, growing from the blond now reddish haired girl. She was growing quickly. After some talks with the doctor, they said that she would stop growing when she grew into a tween body. She'll grow taller, but mature at a normal pace. Since this was said to happen in five months, Kanan was trying to make the best out of little Maar-Maar. He caught her first word, which was "Zeb", and recorded it on a data log.
In five months, this little girl will be gone. In five months, Kanan will still love little Maar-Maar.
