**Jack's POV**
"Jack, are you almost done packing?" Mom's voice called from down the hall.I sighed, staring down at the bags riddling my bed. "Yes, mom!" I replied, my loud voice echoing off the walls.
I walked over to my desk where my computer had been set up. Now, it was bare, with only a stack of comic books on top. I wanted to read them on the flight to distract myself from the incredible height we would be. I hate heights. The door to my room creaked, making me spin on my heels. Mom stood in the doorway, smiling sadly at me.
"What's wrong, ma?"
"I'm sorry we have to move," she sighed, a stray tear falling from her eyes.
"Oh, mom! Don't cry! You'll make me cry!" I laughed, running over to her.
I wrapped my arms around her, giving her a little squeeze. She giggled, wiping at the tears in her eyes, and gave me a warm smile.
"You'll love it."
"I know I will," I smiled.
Los Angeles seemed so impossible before. I never thought I'd go there, nor even have a reason to go. It was the city of angels, and I was going to be living in it! The thought of living in Los Angeles didn't scare me, but starting a new life, in a new school... that terrified me. Plus, big cities don't usually have the nicest people. I feared I'd be that one person who ate their lunch in the bathroom.
I wouldn't let mom know that, however. I had to force a smile, and reassure her that everything was going to be great. Besides, Los Angeles could be my big break. I had started up my YouTube channel about two months ago, but didn't have many subscribers yet. These things happen slowly... right? I don't know. All I knew was that I had to get my bags out to the car before the plane left to L.A. without us.
Hey guys! I know it's a short chapter, but it's only to set up the scene for the rest of the story: Los Angeles. Hope you guys enjoy. This story will not include Darkiplier, or Antisepticeye, like my last Septiplier story did,, but I have a good feeling about this one. Hope it'll be long! Hope you enjoy, fellow shippers...
