Railey's POV

Sunday, 1:27 pm

I was speechless for quite some time, staring at the gorgeous brunette in front of me. I slowly scanned her from top to bottom, lost in my own world. Her long, luscious brunette locks ended just above her waist with a deep shade blue set of eyes just like the sparkling ocean under the bright morning sun. She was gorgeous and I was stunned by this beauty. Even though she just stood at a mere 5'3", she was still amazing to look at. She would make a great spooning buddy.... wait, what am I thinking about?! I quickly shook my head to escape from my weird thoughts.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO'?!" she yelled at my face and I nearly jumped out of my skin. WHAT?! What did she just ask me?! I stared at her, not knowing what to say or what she had said. I just stood there like an idiot. "Auntie Iz, I don't think she heard you..." Zoe said, tugging lightly on her button-up top. She looked over at the small little girl, then back at me, narrowing her eyes. "I'll ask one more time, who are you and why did you kidnap my niece?" She asked with a serious look on her face. Her eyes were burning right though me as I tried to answer her question without stuttering.

"I...um...I-I didn't k-kidnap her..." I gulped, which I was sure she had heard, then continued, "I-I found her all by herself at a booth a-and w-won her that t-teddy..." I pointed over at Carlos that she was holding. God...what's wrong with me?! Why am I stuttering like that? It's not like she's gonna eat me... I looked her in the eye and I just realized, I was staring straight into the eyes of a ferocious man-eating tiger. I turned as pale as a ghost. It was as though she was staring at prey and I was that prey. I gulped a second time and waited for her to say something, anything really, I just didn't want to become one of her meals.

She watched me for a while, like a tiger watching its prey, ready to pounce when the time was right. I was sweating, and it wasn't from the heat. "...and?" She said suddenly, breaking the silence between us. I was very confused and I was certain that she could see the question marks appear above my head because she opened her mouth to speak again, "Your name? Who are you?" I blinked a couple times and stared at her, stupefied, then it snapped and I quickly replied, almost forgetting my own name, "...R-Railey! Name's Railey." I reached a hand out to her unintentionally. I had already forgotten that we started on bad terms. I was about to retract my hand when she lightly grabbed it and shook my hand, "Isabella and thank you for helping me find and take care of her. I'm sorry for accusing you earlier." She gave a light heartwarming smile. The smile was so dazzling, oh god...I feel like melting from that smile...she's gor-

I stopped and quickly shook my head, I must be out of my mind! Even though I said that, I couldn't take my eyes off her. It made me look like a complete idiot. After I realized what I was doing, I turned bright red, I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could, it was so embarrassing!

Then, the most amazing sound was heard, she giggled, "You have quite an arsenal of expressions," she said, smiling lightly. "Could I interest you for lunch? After all, I have to thank you in some way for taking care of my niece." I stared at her, did I hear that correctly? Lunch. With her. This...human being...if she is...wants to have lunch with me?!

I was probably overreacting with the whole situation, but I was certain no one else could measure up to her. I managed to mumble out an embarrassing "Yes, I-I would l-love to..." Yes, I would love to dig a hole right this instant and jump into it. What the fuck is wrong with me??? I just couldn't take the tension I was feeling anymore and pulled her towards a small, friendly-looking cafe just across the theme park.

She was really surprised when I pulled her along with me so suddenly, but she complied anyways, holding Zoe's hand along the way. When we entered the cafe, it didn't look anything like the outside. Inside the cafe, it had a cottage themed layout. The place had a pleasant scent to it, like a small field of fresh flowers at dawn, it could soothe the stress and tension of anyone that entered.

I dragged the two girls over to a comfy spot in the cafe. I could probably get used to this place...so comfortable...and peaceful. Light soothing music was played over the stereo, the music was calming, relaxing. I was starting to really enjoy this place. Then the waiter caught me off guard, "May I take your order?"
