Pit's P.O.V

Once Dark Pit announced the war, you looked directly at Pit. Pit tapped his foot with his arms folded.

Pit was afraid that this news would remind you of when you were in the hospital, and that you would put more thought into the lie I told her. Pit was correct, he could see you look the other way in great thought.

Palutena's voice echos through the room. "Pit? What's wrong? You seem nervous..." She says stepping closer to him. Pit turns around to see the Goddess's pure face.

"I'm afraid Y/N has figured out that what I told her... Is a lie." Pit says looking down. "What? How is that possible?" Palutena asks slowly walking up to Pit.

"This news that Pittoo just told, when he mentioned we've been preparing for five months... I think it triggered her memory a bit. Just enough to at least think I was lying when I told her about putting her in a coma."

Palutena scoffs shaking her head. "We can't let her know that her parents died" She said confidently. Pit nods in agreement "Your right Lady Palutena... But I can't think of a way to stop her from remembering..."

"Yes, I'm afraid we cannot stop her from remember. All we have to do is hope" Palutena says turning around. Pit doesn't exchange words as Palutena walks out of the room. Pit turns back around and looks out into the audience once more.

Your P.O.V

You cross your legs and continue to think

But Pit told me that my parents wanted me to be transferred.

You thought it sounded believable, and you didn't understand why you underestimated Pit. The whole story made sense, but for some reason... It sounded wrong, it sounded incorrect. You stood up as everyone took their seats once more. You found the nearest exit and rushed to it.

You pushed open the door and walked out into a empty room.

"Y/N!" A voice shouts, you hear footsteps approach you. You look the direction where your name was shouted. You see Pit turn the corner to enter the same room as you.

"Pit!?" You ask. You were surprised that Pit took the time to exit the V.I.P suite, to go see if you were okay.  "Y/N, where are you going?" Pit asks between pants. You look down and sigh, you couldn't think of an excuse so you told Pit the reason why you were leaving.

"I-I can't think right... Pit?" You say looking back up into his blue eyes. "Pit? What happened to me? What was the real reason I was in the hotel?" You ask flatly. Pit's face went pale and a look of shock was on his face.

That's when you knew that what he told you, was a lie.

Pit's P.O.V

She knew. She knew that Pit was lying.

Pit couldn't help it, a wave of shock spread across his face and he was sure that would confirm that what he said was a lie. Pit looked around and approached a bench and sat down.

You followed Pit and sat down next to him.

Pit took a deep breath. He knew he had to tell her the truth.

"Okay... Listen Y/N... I want you to listen very carefully to me." Pit began. He watched you lean forward a bit. Pit sighed and begun the story

"On June 2nd your parents picked you up from your school, It was the last day of school. Your parents took a right turn into the highway and a car hit the backside of yours. Hard. Your car flew off the highway and into a steep hill. This..." Pit trails off and tenses.

Your P.O.V

You thought you were going to know what happens next. You hear Pit trail off and tense next to you. You looked over, he had a face of sympathy. You stayed silent, assuring yourself that he'd pick himself back up again.

"That caused both of your parents to pass and for you to go in a coma for a whole year, there was no one else who would take you in so you were transferred in the only place you belong... Skyworld" Pit finishes his story

You stood up and immediately started to cry, tears streaming down your face. Pit didn't seem to notice  until he apologized

"Y/N I'm so s-"

He was cut off as he looked up to you, he witnessed the tears streaming down your face and he jolted up "Y/N! D-don't cry" He whispers, setting his hand on your shoulder.

"YOU LIED TO ME!"

You shouted and jerked your shoulder away from his hand. "Y/N please... It was for the best.." Pit whispered. You didn't know what to do.

You didn't want to be mad at Pit, but he deceived you into thinking you belong

"I-I don't belong here" You whispered hiding your face in your hands as you continued to sob "I only came here because no one wanted me..." You look up to see the expression on Pit's face. "No! T-that's not true!" Pit's voice cracks.

He looked as if he really wanted to comfort you. Without thought, you fell into Pit's chest and wrapped your arms around him. You sob into his chest and he hugs you back. Pit pulls you closer with his wings. "Y/N I want you to promise me something" Pit whispers. You nod slowly "What is it?" You ask

"I understand how your feeling...." Pit separates your "But please....  I don't want to see you depressed..." Pit explains quietly.

You knew what he was trying to say. He didn't want this to ruin your life. But it seemed impossible. Knowing that both of your parents are dead. But you promised him anyways.

"I promise" You sniffle.

Pit nods "Good" He whispers wiping your tears away with his thumb. You two back away from each other "Take care Y/N" Pit says as he retreats back to the V.I.P seating area. You nod and turn back, facing the doors

Deciding that you should walk in the auditorium once more
