To the Skies - Pit X Reader

~ TWO ~

Your P.O.V

"C'mon you can run faster than that!" Pit voice yells across the arena. Many soldiers, including me look up at Pit. He stands up from sitting down in the bleachers. He throws the half-eaten apple to the side and hops off the bleachers and into the arena. Many soldiers run faster and so do you. 

You've learned that Pit is 'Captain of the Royal Guard' and 'Lady Palutena's Servant'. This gave him a high rank in Skyworld. This was also your 30th day of training, surprisingly, you were running towards the front of the group of soldiers. 

You sensed someone watching you and you looked around. You saw Pit, staring at you. You quickly looked away nervously and got distracted, causing yourself to trip on someone's foot. You, and 3 other female soldiers collapsed to the ground.

Pit started walking over as some soldiers slowly got on their feet. Pit was eventually next to you, and he offered his hand to you. You gladly grabbed it and he pulled you up. He did the same with the other soldiers that were on the ground. "You guys okay?" He asked the group that had fallen. You and the other soldiers nod "Yeah" You all say in unison

Pit nodded and turned around "Alright, good" He said, signalling the group to continue to run. You all obeyed and resumed running. You looked over at the girls "Are you new?" One of them asks. You nod, "Cool! I'm Lily" One says waving, you wave back. Lily had light purple eyes, with long brown hair. The other two waved back and said their names

"I'm Zoey!"

"I'm Harper!"

"Hey I'm Y/N" You say smiling, These girls seemed very friendly "After practice do you wanna come get some dinner with us?" Lily asks you, hope in her eyes. You thought for a second "Sure" You responded nodding. "Yay!" Harper inputting as Zoey nodded "Ditto! I can't wait!"

You entered the diner the girls told you to meet. They were all sitting at a table, talking. They were all blushing and giggling. You raised an eyebrow as you sat in the table they were gathered around. "What's all the giggling about?" You ask playfully. 

Harper straightened her posture, she looked excited to tell you. "We're talking about Pit" She gushed. "Pit?" You ask "What about him?"

All the girls gasped "On how cute he is of course!" Zoey said. You scoffed and smiled "You think he's cute?" You ask

"Heck yeah!" Lily says looking at you "Don't you think he is?" She asks. You look at your feet "I mean, I guess" You laugh. Zoey and Lily clap their hands in excitement , and Harper plastered a huge grin on her face. The girls continued to gush about Pit, and eventually, you decided to join along.

Pit's P.O.V

Pit sighed as he set his badge that he was wearing on the counter next to him.

"Pit?" A soft voice asks behind him. Pit jumped a bit and turned around to see Lady Palutena. "Lady Palutena! What is it?" Pit asks leaning against the counter next to him.

"How was Y/N? Did she do well?" Palutena asks. Pit dipped his head respectfully, acknowledging what she asked. And gave a report on how she did

"She was very well actually, she caught on fast and was in the front of the group in no time. She got distracted and tripped along with three other girls. But they got back up again with my help and continued to run, they seemed to get along well... And I wouldn't be surprised if they were best friends tomorrow." Pit chuckled with Palutena.

"Who were these girls?" Palutena asks. "Lily, Harper and Zoey" Pit says slowly, remembering the names. Palutena nods

"What else?" She asks coldly. 

Pit sighs "Other than that... Her amnesia seems fine, she fits in well and I think you made the right decision by not telling her, if we did, I don't think she would be happy as she in now."

Palutena smiles "I'm glad you agree with me Pit" She says, ending the conversation. She approaches the door "Have a nice rest of your day Pit" She whispers

"You too Lady Palutena!" Pit says smiling and waving as she walks out the door.
