Chapter 1 Detention

Lone's POV:

"Lone are you ready yet, we're going to be late," my brother Fang said.

"Almost ready," I said in a whisper.

"Huh? What? I can't hear you?"

That really made me mad because Fang and I are half human, half wolf we could hear even the slightest sound from at least 4 miles away (if we tried). I didn't have time to joke around today. "One minute," I said a little louder but still in a quiet tone.

"Still can't hear you," he said in a mocking voice.

So I grabbed a bullhorn and screamed "ARE YOU DEAF?! I SAID ONE MINUTE!!!" When a wolf hears high frequencies up close it feels like knifes are stabbing them in the ear drum, but it depends on the wolf. If he's an alfa, than it will only stun him for a moment while others will be in agony. Its the worse punishment for a wolf. Luckily, Fang's a leader (in training)

"AAHHHHHH!! Hey, just cause your nervous doesn't mean you can take your anger out on me. Besides there isn't any need to worry, because I will be there with you and the headmaster will look after you too," Fang said with confidence.

"Okay" I said once again my quiet tone.

As Fang and I were on our way to Hybrid High a couple thoughts crossed my mind, will they like me? Will me and Fang be the only wolf hybrids at Hybrid High? Will there be drama like I see in those high school movies?

As Fang and I arrived at the school the only words we could stomach out were "oh...my...god!!!" The school looked so fancy, so elegant, so.. important.

"Wow! This is the most fanciest school ever!" I said.

"This is the only school you've been to," He teased.

"Ha....ha....ha, very funny " I countered. Suddenly we heard an announcement

"FANG YANG REPORT TO THE FRONT OFFICE ALONE ITS URGENT." I saw him excited then hesitate.

"You heard the announcement, its urgent. Go, I'll be fine," I said reassuring him.

"Okay, you go find the lockers. Oh and remember the spell grandfather taught us to hide our tails," Fang said.

"Yeah," I said hesitating hoping he won't notice. "Now go it's rude to keep the headmaster waiting." Fang gave me a 'I owe you' grin and ran to the front office.

When I finally found our lockers I heard a girl screaming in the hallway. The scream was so loud that it made me fall to my knees. When I got up I saw a girl in a boys uniform running towards me. As she got closer and closer I noticed that she wasn't a girl he was a ... BOY!!! When he ran by he lifted my skirt! Instead of screaming my face went red from embarrassment. Not long after I saw a boy and a girl run after him. The girl had long brown hair pulled up into a ponytail and had a sweater with sleeves that were too long. The boy almost looked identical to the guy with the girly face, he had blood red hair that covered his left eye.

I decided to follow (hey, just because I'm shy doesn't mean I cant get payback).

As I was running I noticed my tail was wagging. "Crap," I said under my breath I tried to find a fairy, because I forgot the spell. Luckily, she was right around the corner. "Hey...fairy-" I started.

"Teddy, my name is Teddy," she said in perky tone while interrupting me.

"Well ummm... Teddy, can you please make my tail disappear?" I said in a quiet tone.

"Sure," she said with a smile, and poof my tail was gone.

I sighed in relief "Yay i'm of the -"

"KELLY, CRIMSON, LEWIS AND LONE REPORT TO THE DETENTION CENTER RIGHT AWAY!" said the announcer interrupting me.

"Crap," I said in disbelief.
