"sure" you walked out of the room
her parents were out of town so it was only You, Cat and Mario
he was playing his xbox downstairs
you walked into the kitchen to get the snacks
at first he didn't notice you but after a few seconds he turned around
"oh hi Y/N!" he stopped the game and walked over to you
"hi Mario..." you said
"what are you doing?" he asked
"um I'm just getting snacks. cat told me to go down so I did" I laughed awkwardly
"ok" he smiled
when you were about to walk upstairs cat walked down
"Hey listen Y/N I'm so sorry but I need to go to Amy's house for a second because she has my book and I need it for the weekend. I will be back in 30 minutes I promise. you can stay with Mario ok?" she said
"um yeah ok" I smiled

you ran downstairs
