Chapter 4: Familiars

Vlad organized a huge ball at his castle for the children's first birthday, a lot of vampires and human nobles were invited and everyone at the ball was wondering how did King Vlad and Maria have 7 children. The children were all healthy and strong specially Dante and Virgil, and Elizabeth became more beautiful and you can see that she will be very beautiful when she grows up even if she's still a year old, Reid is a very quiet child, he rarely cries nor laughs, while Luke always cry, then Maximus is the most playful of them all and Gray is the sweetest specially with their mother. Maria was really happy but she gets sad everytime she remembers that six of his children will be taken from her side, and worst part is that they will fight to the death with Raven, an almost godlike being that while time passes by gets stronger and stronger. At the end of the ball, gifts from the guests were pilling all over the halls. So the four other Kings have special gifts to the children, one from their respected father. Aldaer gave Elizabeth an Elegant Bow, Lucifer gave a Katana to Virgil and a huge two handed sword to Dante, Bahamut gave a mysterious armguard to Maximus and Freed gave Luke a leash made of obsidian, Then Vlad gave Reid a cape all of their gifts were equipments.

Maria: Im sorry my lords..

Lucifer: No need to be so formal, Queen Maria.

Maria: oh my apologies, but what kind of gifts are these? they're just kids.

Bahamut: They will need it someday.

Aldaer: Remember Queen Maria, they were not born to be normal, they have a quest.

Freed: Not that im siding with pointy ears here but his right.

Vlad: I just forgot, we still have one more son.

Aldaer: Ha? do you mean the human?

Bahamut: Im sorry Vlad, but he cant fight, and most of all he is not able to use our weapons or armor, but i can ask my blacksmith to make one for him if you want.

Freed: Well.. I have an idea, how about a..

Lucifer: A Familiar?

Freed: Precisely! since he can't protect himself, and we all know that he is also our responsibility.

Aldaer: Tsk! Well i'll agree, I don't want my Elizabeth to know that i have abandoned his little brother, and He's different from other humans (Aldaer looked away while blushing)

Freed: My instincts tells me he's my son, Ha ha ha.

Vlad: I think he has an incredible charisma, that's why i feel so attached to him and I feel that all of us feel the same thing about Gray.

Lucifer: It's hard to admit since we were once the most evil and ruthless creatures known, well that was before Raven.

Aldaer: Not that i don't want to bless him with a familliar, but will the familiars obey him?

Vlad: A high rank familiar will be able to listen to him.

(Familiars - in other words Servants, Categorized by low, mid to high. Low rank familiars can be in form of an insects or low form of life organism and mid rank familiars maybe animals such as bats, dire wolves, dogs or cats etc. while high rank familiars are in shape of human beings or high intelligent creatures)

Lucifer: Well if he needs protection a high rank would be perfect.

Bahamut: Looks like Aldaer was planning to give Gray a low rank, Ha Ha Ha

Aldaer: D-definitely not!

Vlad: Then I'll go first. (speaks in Vampire language like hissing) I summon you... Zero!!!

A form of human appeared, Zero a high rank vampire, he was one of the most powerful,strongest vampires, he looks very noble with long white hair, eyes were color blue like cold as ice and glowed as he looked up.
