Mum And I

Madison's POV

Laying on the cold floor in pain is all I felt I could hardly breath I panicked and cried for help but no one heard me my dad kicked my side non stop I repeatedly called for my mum but she wasn't here and I knew that but I was so scared. Tears came poring out of my eyes like a waterfall.

''Stop please I'm sorry I won't do it no more PLEASE STOP.''I repeated said so he would stop,and surprisingly he did. He walked up the stairs and into his room and slammed the door.

''Why does this have to happen to me.'' I said as I crawled up the stairs in pain and into my room.

He is my step dad and my real dad passed away 12 months ago I'm 15years old and I pretend that my dad is still with me sometimes my step dads name is Rick and my mothers name is Lorie.

Me and my mum use to do everything together we were like the best of friends honestly she was the one I could go to but ever since my dad passed everything changed. My mum gets hurt too but she's to scared to fight back.

I remember when I was 13 I talked about my FAVORITE band ever they are called One Direction I told my mum to sing Little Things to me every night It made her cry when she listened to it and I never knew why but I always use to sing it to her as well.

''Your hand fits in mine like its made just for me. But bear this in mind it was meant to be and I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks and it all make sense to me.'' I sang as the tears came running down my face as it bring back memories.

''Madison are you in here?" my mum whispered so she wouldn't wake up Rick.

''Yeah mum I'm in pain.''I cried as I sang Little Things in my head.

''Oh my god sweety are you okay!'' mum said as she ran up to me.

"'Mum I'm fine I was just wondering why we don't talk like we use to anymore.''I said as I winced in pain and i felt a tear slowly move out my bruised black eye.

She whipped away the tear and kissed my forehead gently.

''Things are getting hard and at the age you are at I don't think you will understand.''she said trying to hold back the tears as well as I.

She picked me up a few moments later and played me on my bed.

She walked over to her purse and walked back with a little gift box.

''I have a present for you I know how much you LOVE One Direction and I got you this.''Mum said as she handed me the small box.

I took of the lid and set it besides me and I pulled out 3 tickets to a One Direction concert and then 3 backstage passes and a 5 day stay at the hotel they are going to stay at so we could hang out with them for all 5 days!

''Oh My God THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU,ARE THE BEST!"I said managing to whisper/scream.
