Meghan's point of view
I woke up from my deep sleep, at 11:00am on a Saturday morning. I picked up my phone, and pushed the home button, so see my screen read December 1st. I quickly jumped out of my bed, and went over to my computer desk. I had realized today was the announced winner of the One Direction Christmas Contest. Did I mention I entered? Like a million times!!
I opened up the main page that the contest was on, and I went under the section where the winner was announced. I crossed my fingers as I clicked on the icon that said winner results. The name that was on the screen was my name!! MEGHAN PAYMORE!!! "Oh my gosh!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
My mother and father came running up the stairs. "Meghan, what's the matter?" Mr.Paymore asked.
"I won the One Direction contest!!" I cried.
"That's great dear! When do you leave?" Mrs.Paymore asked.
"Uh, tomorrow. I will be gone from December 2nd to January 3rd, so a little over a month. A limo is coming tomorrow to get me," I explained. My parents just nodded.
I texted all my friends, but I texted my bestie, Allison.
M: Meghan A: Allison
M: Hey Alli, guess what??
A: Uhh, I dunno, what??
M: I won the One Direction contest!!!
A: Oh..My..Gosh!! Did you actually????
M: Yeah! I did
A: That's awesome, but of course I'm totally jelly, but happy for you
M: Thanks girl! I'll talk soon, because I have to pack up. Byeee kisses
A: Kisses, bye
After the conversation was over, I ran at the speed of light up to my room. I got my 3 suitcases out, and began to start packing my clothes, makeup, electronics, etc. It took me a good 2 hours to get everything packed, and it was 4pm already! I took a little nap on my bed until dinner was ready. All I wanted was tomorrow to come.
