Isabel's point of view:
The port city Roma was indeed beautiful. Everything was colorful and the people were lively! I looked around, soaking in the sights. I currently searched the market place hopefully for tomatoes.
Lovi was at my flank, eyes scoping out the area, probably because he too craved the same bright red fruits. I take a quick breath when I finally see what I'm looking for.
Grabbing Lovi and Alfonso, with mild complaining and confusion, I rush them over with me the produce booth. And other woman smiles as she raises an eyebrow in question to my giddiness."My my, I've never one so happy at the sight of my tomatoes!"
she teases. Lightly laughing I reply:
"It's been so long since I had some and it's a favorite of mine!"
I then proceed to hand pick a bag full of tomatoes, of course with the help of my companions as they are admirers of plump fruit as well.
After having meeting up and having lunch, we still have some time to enjoy Roma before head back on the water.
"Hey Isabel!"
Antonio calls
"It's been awhile, how about a new dress?"
"Dress? But what I am to do with one, Toni?"
"Well"
joins Alfonso"You could use it for when you dance." "Not to mention you deserve to have something nice."
Toni cheers.I look to Lovi.
"What do you think?"
He gives me a indifferent look.
"It would improve your wardrobe significantly unless you enjoy looking like a poor hag."
"Well then I think it would be wonderful to get a new dress!"
I thank gratefully. After about a half hour of selecting and arguing, everyone finally agrees to one dress. It's a ruffed, off the shoulder sleeved, big skirt dress of scarlet. Surely I will have to try it out today with a dance performance.
Lovino's point of view:
By the time we return to the Santa Maria, the crew is just finishing loading the new cargo. I find a cozy spot as soon as I get on broad, exasperated by all the time spent in Roma. I was almost asleep till a
"Lovi~"
brought me back to reality. I stare down the source that upset my now ruined nap."Isabel, I'm trying to sleep here damn it! That stupid shopping spree was way too damn long! At least let me rest woman!"
I was gonna continue on when she cut me off.
"What about some dancing later Lovi?"
I sigh. She'll often cuts me off when I try to tell her something, especially when I'm disagreeing to something.
"I'm not really in the mood-"
"oh please! I know you love dancing Lovi! And if you agree I promise I dancing the flamenco for you too!"
Damn. That woman knew exactly what I liked too.
"Fine Isabel, but promise to leave me be for a nap."
She nodded, smiling as she went off. My cheeks start to heat.
I made her smile, and do I ever love that smile?
Third person point of view:
About late afternoon, the crew of the Santa Maria watched as the lady of the ship put on her show.
She stood proud in her new dress and fresh red carnations which bloomed out of her bun. One crew member even pulls out a Spanish guitar and starts to weave the sweet rhythm in which Isabel would wrap herself into. She flicked her wrist, tapped her feet and swayed her body to the music. Her moves where bold and passionate. She danced the flamenco with a fire.A fire like what attacked the ship.
