Devon's P.O.V.

Can I just wake up. im sick and tired of this shit. I just want Rayleigh, I want my life back. I want to go back to where it was just me and Fane. back to hiw it is supposed to be.

I could walk around now. I still could hear nothing. being deaf sucks. I dont talk, just shake my head. I dont know how people live like this. but I think I rather be deaf then blind. At least I can hunt. This should help with my hunting, right?

No one is treating me the same. I'm not really that different. Just cause I can't hear dosent mean I have changed. If I can look at the bright side of things than others should be able to, right?

I walked up stairs and saw Nala. I smiled but she avoided contact. u screamed since I can't hear, I have forgotten how to speak. she quickly looked up and rushed over to me. She grabbed a white board, which we now have laying all over the house, and wrote what's wrong?

"What's wrong? Call a pack meeting and it is starting in five minutes. EVERYONE must be there!" I wrote down,,then stomped off, dragging my IV pole behind me. The doctor still makes me carry this around for hecks who knows why.

I had Nala sit in the crowd and had Derek stand next to me instead. We had a computer that I could type on and it would go on a screen otherwise Derek would be speaking for me. I started typing on a computer but made sure it didn't show up on the screen, yet.

I am holding this pack meeting to distribute some news that will effect this whole pack. My wolf has left my body, sorta. This is all complicated information and very hard to explain. I will still be in role of alpha but right now, my beta Derek will help me explain.

Whispers were spreader between my pack after Derek was finished explaining.

"Please be quite!" Derek announced as he hushed the pack.

"Please treat her as if everything was fine. There are white boards and you can always text her.,she is deaf but is surviving. She is still your alpha and still has power over you." Derek ended the meeting and after everyone left, I had Nala and Derek stay.

"You are treating me differently."'I wrote on the white board.

"What do you mean?" Nala wrote back.

"No eye contact, don't visit me, what's going on, I'm still me. Devon May." She let go of my eye contact and Derek stepped in.

"I'm sorry Devon, this has just taking a tole on us." I didn't read the rest for my anger had risen, without Rayliegh, no one could keep me calm.

"Taken a tole on you?! I understand if it's hard for you to take care of me as I have taken care of you as you alpha! I am the one who is deaf I am the one who has LOST HER WOLF!" I had tears in my eyes and ran. I didn't carry my IV pole because I found it stupid. I ran to the forest, not thinking of the danger I'm in just with being without a wolf. I ran as far as my human body could take me. I got tired faster than usual.

I remember running deep in the forest, deeper than usual. I stopped to catch a breath when I saw something from the corner of my eye. I turned it then got smacked in the face. I fell to the ground and my face smacked a rock as I blacked out, I saw Justin. Wait, Justin?

I remember waking up in a familiar room. Shit! This is Justin's room! What the hell am I doing here? I sat up and but was tied down to the bed. If he finds out I'm deaf or lost my wolf my whole pack could be in danger. I'll just mind link, wait, I can't mind link anyone. This blows. I looked around and saw he emptied the room. All that was in here was the bed and his closet door had a lock on them.

The door opened and in he walked. I saw his mouth moved but could only make out a few words. You. Get. Away. Me. You get away me? What could that be. He kept talking so I kept finding words.

Alone.

Your.

Mine.

Only.

Don't.

What.

Did.

Whatever.

Was.

Mine.

When I sat there quietly I realized I had a blank face on. I'm not making it very believable that I can still hear. I put on an evil smirk and did my best to laugh. I just rolled my eyes and look away from him. I saw his confused face from the corner of my eye, then anger covered his face once again. He walked so he was in my vision. He started saying more but I didn't bother looking for words. I just sat there with an amused look on my face.

Justin's P.O.V.

Why isn't she listening? I am yelling at her and she just sits there!

"You think you could get away from me? You will not leave me to be alone. You mine, and only mine! I don't know what you did to remove our marks but whatever it was, I don't care. Your mine!" She just sat there. She had a blank stare until she gave me an evil smirk. She looked towards the window and I was confused. Normally I would have gotten interrupted or even with some smart ass remark but nope! She just looked away. I walked over and tried again.

"You can't just ignore me! Next full moon I'm mating you! Weather your like it or not or weather you have a second mate! Your mine and you will always be mine!" I shouted. She she just looked at me. I walked over to the edge of the bed and crawled on top of her. I grabbed her chin and made her look at me. Her eyes filled with hate, it was cute. Snap out of Justin! Stay focused.

I leaned in and kissed her,to my surprise, she kissed back. Why stop there?

Devon's P.O.V.

He kissed me?! Did he seriously just kiss me. I couldn't help but kiss him back. I don't know what to into me but his lips, oh his lips. I parted my mouth just a little bit and he still licked my bottom lip for entrance. I did not deny it though. Our tongues fought for dominance but his won. Our kiss lasted a while and when he pulled away, I had to hide the sadness that filled me when I couldn't feel his lips against mine. He smiled then crawled off me. He loosened the ropes so I was able to sit up. He walked over to a calendar on the wall I had not noticed. He circled a date and I realized, that was the next full moon, on two weeks. What is so important about the next full moon?

Rayleigh's P.O.V.

Two weeks. I'm two weeks this will all be over. I wonder how Devon is doing, she has prolly killed off half the city with her anger. With out me, her anger just gets out of control. Why have the fates taken me away from my human, my human needs me. Everything in life is a lesson but, what lesson is this? Not take things for granite? That's a lesson learned everyday.

What does this possibly mean? Why have the fates cursed me and my human. Why has the moon goddess brought me, to this white obyss?
