Chapter 25

Since I haven't updated in so long~
Recap: Nova gets married to Baekhyun after Taehyung leaves her to go back home in Daegu after finding out about her marriage contract. Two years later he comes back and sees her in the park with a child and Baekhyun. They accidentally bump into each other and she slaps him for coming back.

Next chapter: The whole gang meet up for a family dinner and Taehyung arrives. Everyone greets him and that's when Nova says he's the biological father of Ara but was too afraid to tell him. He asks her for a date to meet up and talk, she agrees.

Next chapter: They are meeting up and she gets a call from Baekhyun, walking to the bathroom to talk to him. Taehyung then gets a call from a criminal about the dna records of Ara and states that he is the father. Taehyung gets angry and confronts Nova. She finally lets it out and tells him. She leaves and he talks to his fling back home, going home after. Baekhyun takes Nova home after seeing her outside their home and she cries throughout the night.

*Nova's Pov*

I couldn't believe it. I was right after all. Tae was trying to take Ara away from me, not even a week after that night in the restaurant.

I dropped the paper in disbelief, already in tears.

Thank god I was the only one home while Ara slept in her room. I picked it up once again, reading it over as if once wasn't enough to break me down.

In the name of the Seoul Justice Courthouse, we hereby state that Mr. Kim Taehyung has written a case report of taking full custody of biological daughter Kim Ara.

The rest was a blur, only reading that small sentence that would and will change everything in mine and my family's life. My worst nightmare actually becoming a reality. Did it have to go this far? Of course it did, this was my fault from the beginning.

If I only had told Taehyung ahead of time that I was having his baby then maybe, just maybe he wouldn't do this to me. Did he hate me that much after those two years? He was the one who gave up and left, not me.

I tried telling him to stay but he chose not to, only letting me think that our relationship meant nothing to him.

After years of being in love with that man and I get a mail saying he wanted my daughter. Not from him personally but from court.

I needed the one person who I could actually trust and had been there for me through everything. I needed Jimin with me right now to tell me to stop crying because I already look ugly and crying would make it worse.

I ran to my room, grabbing my phone and going to his contacts, messaging him.

"I'm killing that son of a bitch. Watch when I get my hands on him, he's gonna wish that he was never born." Jimin furiously exclaimed.

Once he arrived and seen the state I was in, he automatically knew it was about Taehyung. He read over the paper but what had scared me the most was that he was chuckling through it all which meant he was hiding his anger.

"Don't touch him Jimin." I said, with no emotion in my voice. I didn't have the energy or strength to yell or even speak more than two sentences.

He looked at me incredulously, "What are you saying right now Nova? This is the man that has broken your heart so many times and you still have the will to protect him? He may be my douche of a best friend but he hurt you one too many times to count."
