[FLUFF]

Alan could feel his palms sweating as he checked himself over in the mirror. Austin was currently in the shower and they were currently getting ready for their date. The ginger was nervous, and he didn't quite know why. He loved Austin, they'd been seeing each other for months now, but this was different. In the beginning it was just a fuck, nothing more, nothing less, but now- now they were moved in with each other, barely able to keep their hands to themselves, and there definitely feelings involved, more than there had been before.

The ginger took in deep breaths to calm his quick beating heart. He hadn't had feelings for someone in a very long time- possibly since high school. It was always causal hook ups and one night stands and such things like that, but here he was, currently going on a date with the singer of his band while his other band mates were oblivious.

Austin soon walked into the room and glanced over at the boy who was still stood in front of the mirror fighting with his hair. He was dressed in black skinny jeans and one of Austin's oversized sweatshirts. He looked absolutely gorgeous, that was one thing for sure, and Austin could barely peel his eyes off of him as he got dressed in a t-shirt and jeans.

"Does this look okay?" Alan asked, turning away from the mirror as he gave up trying to make his curly ginger hair do something.

"It looks perfect, baby, stop worrying," Austin said, grinning as he pulled on his shoes. Alan felt his cheeks warm, because as of lately, everything the brunette said seemed to make him blush.

"Well, I don't know how to dress since you've decided to give me little information as to where we're going," Alan mumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest, his bottom lip budding out slightly.

"Don't pout, you look perfect in what you're wearing and where we're going doesn't require anything fancy," Austin said, walking over to the boy and grabbing his hips. "Now, come on, we gotta get going."

。。。

Austin was right, the place where they were going for their date definitely didn't require anything fancy. He took the ginger to one of his favourite sushi places in California, which earned him a big squeal and a kiss on the cheek.

"I love this place," Alan said as they took their seats in a booth. Austin smiled and gave a shrug.

"I know, and I figured this was the best place to come," he said. Alan smiled widely and leaned across the table, pressing a kiss to the brunettes lips quickly.

The ginger and brunette ordered what they wanted whenever a waiter came to them. Alan couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach as the waiter left, leaving Austin and him to be in a silence. This wasn't what they agreed to in the beginning when they first started messing around. Feelings and attachment weren't supposed to be involved, and yet they were.

"You look beautiful tonight, you know that?" Austin spoke up, voicing his thoughts. He had been staring at the ginger who was looking around the restaurant, watching people walk in and out.

"You've told me already," Alan mumbled, his cheeks flushing a dark red as he smiled behind his hair. God, he was so bashful around the brunette. He used to not be, he was rather flirty and a big tease, and he still was at times, but once he realized his feelings for the man, things kind of changed.

"I know, you just... I can't stop looking at you, I mean, you're literally the most cutest person I've ever laid eyes on, and I'm so happy you're in my life and apart of the band and I...I love you so, so much, and I know in the beginning we agreed to not have feelings, that this was nothing more than just a hook up until tour ended but I... I don't know, I caught feelings and I love you," Austin rambled, Alan's eyes widening slightly, and not only because the brunette admitted to living him, but also because at the front door stood Aaron and Phil, oblivious to the two, thankfully.

"Shit," the ginger mumbled, coming up with the only thing possible that didn't draw too much attention to them, which was sliding underneath the table, just as the waiter came with their food who decided not to question it and walked away.

"What the hell? What are you doing?" Austin demanded to know, looking underneath the table at the ginger.

"Sit back up," Alan snapped. "Phil and Aaron are at the front."

Austin's eyes widened and he sat up and looked back at his friends and band mates who were definitely stood at the front. They noticed the brunette sat at the booth and grinned widely at each other.

"Hey, Aust, what are you doing by yourself?" Phil asked as he and Aaron approached.

"Oh, um, I-I'm actually on a date, she's in the bathroom," Austin lied, chucking nervously, but Phil and Aaron were none the wiser.

"Oh sweet, well we're just here to pick up something for Amanda and then we're gonna go to Tino's, you should totally come after your date," Aaron said, grinning widely.

"Sure, we'll have to see," Austin muttered. Phil and Aaron said a goodbye before walking away and doing as they came here for before they both walked out. Alan crawled from underneath the table back to his seat, his cheeks flushed red.

"The floor is so gross," the ginger whined, cleaning off little specks from the sleeve of his sweater. Austin didn't say anything, only watched the ginger boy. Maybe this was all such a bad idea, them being together. They were going to have to constantly hide from everyone because they weren't ready to come out, they wouldn't be able to be a real couple, but Austin was so in love with the ginger that he'd rather hide his relationship for many years than not be with Alan.

"What?" Alan mumbled, his cheeks flushing a deeper red.

"Nothing," Austin said, shaking his head.

Neither of them spoke as they began to eat the now somewhat warm sushi. Alan glanced at the brunette every once in awhile, seeing him with a contemplative look on his face. It was kind of nerve wracking, to say the least.

When they both finished eating, Austin paid for the meal, much to the gingers distaste, and they headed back home. The brunette barely spoke a word, which made Alan really nervous. It felt like something bad was going to happen.

"Are you okay, Aust?" Alan decided to question again as they walked through the front door of their home. The first time Austin shrugged him off, but the ginger was determined to get an answer.

"Yes, Alan, I'm fine," the brunette answered, kicking his shoes off and heading to the bedroom. Alan followed behind him like a lost puppy.

"No, you're not. You've barely spoke to me and you've been acting weird ever since Aaron and Phil left, what's wrong?" Alan demanded to know, grabbing the older man's hand and stopping him from walking away.

Austin sighed, turning and facing the smaller boy. There was no way he could stay angry- not that he was- at him or upset. He was far too cute and way too easy to forgive, but he was so in love with the boy that he didn't mind.

"Nothing, baby, I swear, okay? I love you," Austin mumbled, leaning down and pressing a kiss to the gingers forehead.

"Well, I love you, too," Alan said, and he swore that Austin's face shone brightly like a star as his face broke out into the widest smile.

"Really?" The brunette questioned like a little child.

"Of course," Alan told him, grinning.

Just like that, Austin's mood changed and he was pushing the ginger up against the wall, kissing him like he hadn't seen or touched him in months and with so much love. Alan squeaked in surprise before wrapping his arms around the brunettes neck and kissing him back.

The rest of the night was spent like that, the both of them kissing and holding each other, nothing sexual. It was nice, making out for once and it not leading to sex. They were both in love.
