Peggy's POV:

Peggy automatically felt guilty after her call with Maria. She dialed her again to call off the favor. "Maria, I can't let you do this. Please. I may be mad, but I love my sister and I would never want to hurt her."
"I'm sorry, Peggy. But I've been wanting to do this ever since I laid eyes on that boy. I'm going to do it, no matter once."
By now Peggy was on the verge of tears. "Maria, please. I...I can't let you. Please. I'll do anything."
"It's over, Margarita. I'm kissing Alexander whether you like it or not." Maria hung up the phone.
"No!" Peggy shrieked into the phone. But it was too late. How dare Maria kiss Alex? And how dare she call Peggy Margarita? Peggy buried her face into her hands and cried. Eliza would be heartbroken, and it would be all Peggy's fault. "I...hate... MARIA!" Peggy screamed.
"What the hell is going on?" Angie said storming into the room. "Why do you hate Maria?"
Eliza then came bounding into the room? "Peggy? Omg!"
Just looking at Eliza made Peggy feel even more guilty. Even when they were fighting, she was so trusting and kind. Peggy wiped away her tears. "I am fine. Maria is a b*tch, but I'll deal."
"Is Maria bullying you, Pegs? Do I need to kick her ass?" Asked Angie
Peggy couldn't tell them what was going on. "No. She's not. She just....used up my data with her spam."
Angie scrunched her eyebrows. "One, we have unlimited data. Two, we're in the house so you're on wifi."
"Oh yeah." Peggy said. Angie wasn't easy to fool.
"Pegs, tell us what's really going on." Eliza said.
"No, I'm good. I swear" Peggy said.
Angie and Eliza were hesitant, but they left.
Peggy remembered when Maria used to be nice. When they were friends. That was until Thomas moved to New York from France and split the class in two. Before Thomas, James Reynolds wasn't snarky. James Madison wasn't clingy and competitive. George Eacker didn't pick on the little kids. Maria didn't sabotage people. Peggy felt like she did something someone in that group would do. She pulled out her memory box from under her bed. It was a special box she filled with memories for her to look at when she was sad. As she opened the box, a picture of her, Eliza and Angie when they were little fell out. Peggy giggled. The picture accurately represented their personalities. They were at a carnival, on the ferries wheel. Angie was whooping and leaning off the side. Peggy was crying because of her fear of heights, and Eliza was comforting her.
