Ava-Celine Marie Roberto
I never thought I'd have to do it. I never thought I'd have to bare the scene of my mothers casket being lowered into the ground. That sucked.
After my mothers death I decided it would only be best to stay in Barcelona so I could be closer to my brother, Sergio, and his wife. I haven't quite adapted to this city yet- it was nothing like what I was used to. I figured I could get over it quickly, though.
I've only been here for a week and I've spent most of my seven days either at funerals, at a random gym practicing my skills, or decorating my new flat in a more reserved part of this huge city. I haven't gone out at all, I don't really have any friends here. I was planning on going to Sergio's for a dinner, but I was pretty tired and wasn't sure if I wanted to go. I texted him how I felt, but he insisted I went. He told me some of his friends would be there and maybe I could make some of my own.
I eventually gave in and decided to get ready. I wasn't going to dress up too much, I didn't think it'd matter. All I did was thrown on a pair of light jeans and a black t shirt with a random pair of shoes. For my hair I decided it to let it down natural, my long brown waves creeping down my back.
I lounged around for quite some time before I actually gathered up my things and left for Sergio's. Hopefully he didn't mind that I was coming a little late.
On the way to my brothers house I decided it was a perfect time to call my boyfriend back in the U.K. Ever since I left he's been worrying about me like crazy. I appreciate him caring, but I don't need the extra distractions right now.

"Sorry, my sister is late."
The guys and I all sat around Sergio's party table, starving. He told us we couldn't eat yet because his sister wasn't there and I had to hold back my eye roll. I didn't understand why we couldn't just eat, it's her fault for being late.
My heart jumped to my stomach in excitement when I heard Serg's door open and his welcoming voice, indicating his sister was here. I hoped that this finally meant we could eat.
I didn't really pay any attention at all when he was introducing us to his sister, I just pretended I was listening. I kept my head down low and didn't even catch her name.
"Damn, princesa. Why are you in such a mood," I heard Neymar mutter from beside me.
"I'm not," I denied his comment. I soon realized there was no point in lying, he would figure out soon anyway. I took a deep breath before telling him the truth. "I broke up with Emille today."
Neymar didn't say anything back, just raised his eyebrows. He probably saw it coming, I can never keep a girl for long.
The whole time I kept my head down, mouth shut. The only time I'd open my mouth wasn't to speak, it was just simply to eat my food.
I was taking a sip of my water when I felt a sharp elbow to my ribcage. I set down my glass and scoffed at Neymar who was guilty.
"What do you want," I asked rather harsh.
"Have you seen Ava yet? She's beautiful."
