Chapter 8 A Brother's Wish

Ashes begins to slow down as the roars get louder and louder the closer they approach.
We're getting close.
"Yep, that's Acelin alright" he muttered, he could hear her screaming his name from a mile away.

Ashes begins to slowly glide through the air as they approach the scene. Dark vines had restricted all of the silver snake's movement, A little bit away was Parasite holding Xander on top of a tree.

"PARASITE" Ace yelled, in seconds she teleported herself and Xander through Ace' shadow. "Thank you, you and Virus can rest now". They both returned to Ace and he immediately jumped off Ashes, leaving Xander in her protection.

"BE CAREFUL" Xander yelled.
"DON'T NEED TO BE" Ace reassured as he fell towards Acelin. "RELEASE HER AURORA, THIS IS MY FIGHT"
"If you say so" Aurora muttered unwrapping her vines from around Cresta.

Cresta curves her body upwards, standing tall on the back of her tail. Ace continued to lean forward, gliding straight towards. She opens her mouth and begins to eject a venom, shooting from a small hole behind her two bottom Fangs.

The venom shot out in a wide range like shotgun fire. Ace pulled his legs upfront, plummeting quickly to the ground. Dodging the venom and landing on the forest floor.
"I won't let you hide from me" She roared.
She lowered her head to the ground and swung her tail in a 360° formation.

Since I've already used Shadow Teleportation I won't be able to use my other attributes. But that's just fine.
He jumped into the air. Hopping over her tail as it swiftly spun.
"You knew that was'n- Oh I get it" Ace noticed.

All the nearby trees had been ripped all the way out the ground, not even the roots survived.
"You weren't trying to hit me. You were trying to erase all the shadows nearby. Clever. How did you know a hybrid can only use one attribute a day?"

"When I woke up. I could only smell your scent for a second before it vanished. Which equals Shadow Teleportation, Besides I made sure to study all I could about hybrids in your absence"

"But how could you distinguish the difference between distance and teleportation"
"Distance fades. Teleportation disappears" she hissed before lunging at him, head first.

"You know it would be easier to attack in human form, yet to stay hidden in your beast. Why?"
"Because I can't use my fangs to rip you to shreds as a human"

Ace leaped above her head, And stepped on it. Shoving her skull downwards. Suddenly, Scales rose up off her neck in spikes. One cut Ace across the leg, catching him off guard.

He tumbled down the neck, more Scales rose up and caught him. When he opened his eyes he had been completely encased in a scale box.
"You're mine" she screamed, flipping over her enormous body to where he would be crushed.

Thanks for the shadow.
He began to twist the shadows around him and turned it into his signature blade.
Keeping his feet to her body. He launches off and slices through the Scales.

Ace dropped to the ground and ejected his wings. He pulled his wings in front of him and began to make a shield out of Crystal.
Ace lowered his body to the floor and continued to create a large square shield.
I hope this works.

Her body hit the shield and Ace pressed upward, throwing her body into the air. She crashed into the ground and swerved back into battle ready position.

The scales around her face began to shift and form. Her head went upwards and the Scales on her neck began to rise.
When it was over she stood like a King Cobra before roaring again.

"You think you scare me?" Ace said launching towards her. She did the same.
Right before they made contact.
A person jumped directly between them, a black beanie covering the top of their head. Accompanied by Shadowed grey and red eyes.
