Dear Diary,

Someday, Sasuke will fall in love with me!

I don't know when, but I won't give up until he does. Despite his cold attitude towards me, I know he has a heart---a very hard one that is. I wonder if its made of stone? Look, I know, he's a playboy. He's been breaking hearts ever since middle school. He never looks at my direction and he barely even stayed in our class.

He's a deliquent.

A troublemaker.

A teacher's worst nightmare and every girl's daydream.

But someday, Sasuke Uchiha will fall in love with me!

I just know it!

Truth be told, he isn't anything special. Well, he's a varsity player and a part-time model, sure. But can't anyone see him as just an ordinary teenage boy with issues? Yep. Plenty of issues.

He doesn't know how to love and I bet he's never open his heart out for others. I've seen him in his darkest moments, and I only wish he'd lay his eyes on me for once.

I'm not pretty.

I'm far from sexy.

And don't get me started with my forehead!

But, yeah.. I swear, one day, he'll fall in love with me!

Even if he started speaking to me several hours ago after breaking up with Ino.

Even if he's just using his "sweet talk" to get to me.

Even if I heard him and his friends talk about some "bet" the other day while I was studying in the library.

Sasuke Uchiha will fall in love with me!

No matter how many times he broke my heart.

No matter how many hours I stared at the phone.

No matter how many years had passed since that unfateful day.

And no matter how many apologies and "I love you's" I get from him at my place.

This is the story of how I once loved a man, trusted him despite his bad reputation, and gave him the permission to ruin me. This is how I moved on from those little fantasies of mine and started seeing things at a new angle; how late he realized he was. How he cried every night, regretting the day he let me go.

This is the story of how he believes he loves me.

Even if I know he's only fooling himself.

Because in the end,
