*Lisa's POV*

On the ride to Dave's house there was a silence, not an awkward silence, but it was just silent. He stares at me with worry in his eyes.

"Uhm, what's wrong Dave?" I start getting worried, why does he stare like this at me?

"H-how did you get that big bruise?" He points to my arm, oh well done Lisa you forgot to cover up that bruise.

"U-uhm, I fell down the stairs." I can see that he doesn't believe me, what am I gonna say now, the truth?

"Lisa, you've already said that 24 times to me, I don't believe you fall that many times down the stairs, you're not that clumsy" he takes my head between his hands, I can see tears in his eyes, "please tell me the truth Lisa, I wanna help you, I don't wanna see you having pain." I start crying, I guess this is the moment where I have to tell him the truth.

"I've this bruise, because of.." I can get it out of my mouth, it's so hard to betray your father. He's still my father, even though he does this to all of us I still love him.

"Because of what or who? DOES SOMEONE HURT YOU? Please Lisa tell me." He starts yelling again, it's scary, I know he yelled because he is angry at that one person, but that person is my dad. And I don't know what Dave is going to do when he hears this.

"Someone does hurt me, but please Dave.. Don't do anything against him."

"IT IS A HIM, WHAT A WEAK PERSON, HITTING GIRLS, WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM?"

"Dave, please calm down."

"I can't, because apparently a guy is hitting my beautiful girlfriend and I don't want that to happen."

"Okay Dave, please don't do anything against him.. Because it's my dad." I see that he is shocked, he has only met my dad once and that was when he was sober. So he thinks he is that very sweet father. He is very sweet, if there's no alcohol.

"W-what? Y-your father? I-I'm so sorry Lisa. Why does he do that?" I start crying, one second later he starts hugging me tightly and I cry on his chest.

"I don't know, he was a-always this s-sweet father and at one m-moment he started d-drinking a lot, a-and when he is d-drunk he starts h-hi-hitting us. I try to pr-protect the younger ones, s-so most of the time C-Christina, Katherine, m-mom and I are the o-ones that get the smacks or kicks." I say while I'm sobbing. I can see that he is trying not to cry and he hugs me tighter.

"Lisa, I'm so sorry for you, you don't deserve this at all. Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could've helped you. Who knows this?"

"Honestly, I don't know why I didn't tell you earlier, I guess I didn't want you to worry about me. And only Sarah knows, she found out the same way as you just did." I feel guilty for not telling him earlier, I can feel that he notices that.

"Babe, don't feel guilty about it, it's okay. I understand it. I will try to help you as much as possible, I'll be here for you 24/7. Is this also the reason why you weren't in PE today?"

"Y-yes" And I show him the bruise on my leg, he is shocked.

"Lisa, that's a big bruise, don't you wanna go see a doctor?"

"No, because then I've to explain it, don't worry. I've had worse bruises and you see, I survived it." I say and start laughing. "Can we go to your house now, please?" I say as I realized we are still on the school parking lot.

"Sure, babe." And he kisses my forehead.

~2 days later, sorry for skipping days haha~
