Chapter 11

*Lisa's POV*

I open the note,

Well that sucks, right? Being in love with your half-brother. You better drop $1000,- outside, next to the third tree, tonight at 9pm. If you don't do it, I'll tell the school about this secret. See ya.

I shiver and look around. Who send me this, why and how does that person know about this? And how the heck do I get $1000 before tonight? Dad spends all the money at alcohol and we spend it at our music stuff. 

“Hey.” I turn around and see Dave, well awkwaaard.

“Uhm, hi.” I say. Not knowing where to look.

“Can we talk?” Dave asks.

“Ok.” I say and follow him outside. We sit down and he grabs my hand.

“Dear Lisa, I don't know how to say this, but I love you. A lot. Don't ever forget that please. I've loved you for a very long time now and I always will . Even though I'm your half-brother now. But..” He looks down. I'm sure he'll break up with me now.

“Yes?”

“But I think it's better if we break up. Knowing that you're my half-sister makes me feel uncomfortable. It's weird.” I don't know what to say. I get up and walk away.

“Lisa!” I hear Dave yelling. No, I don't want him here now and I start running.

I run to our house and go immediately to my room. I lay on my bed and start crying. He was the one I've loved for more than a year. He was the one I wanted to marry with and now.. Now we can't. I hear a knock. I say they have to go away.

“Lisa, are you okay?” I hear Christina. I start crying harder, she walks in and locks the door.

*Christina's POV*

I was doing a workout when I heard someone coming home and ran upstairs. I heard sobs coming from Lisa, Lauren and Dani's room. I knock on the door, I'm pretty sure Dave broke up with her.

“Lisa, are you okay?” I ask. I'm afraid she'll cut again. He was her first love and I could tell she really loved him. I hear Lisa starting to cry harder and I open the door and lock it then.

“Hey, Lise.” She looks up. Her mascara is all over her face, I sit down next to her on her bed.

“H-hey.” She says. I can tell she's really devastated.

“Talk about it, please. Don't search another way. Just tell me everything that happened.” I say.“H-he bro-oke u-up with m-m-me.” She says and drops her head in my lap and cries. “I'm so sorry Lisa. This situation is just messed up, but please talk to me instead of cutting, promise me.” She looks up and nods. “You can't help it that you fell in love with your half-brother, you didn't know he was. I'm really mad at dad, I guess you are as well. I'm sorry, really.”

“I-I can't believe he did it. I h-hope mom kicks him o-out of the h-house quickly. I'm so m-mad, I c-can't believe he cheated.” Lisa says. I can see the anger in her eyes. She puts her head in my lap again and she falls asleep. 

*Katherine's POV*

I walked past Lisa, Lauren and Dani's room and I heard Lisa crying and saying something about kicking him out of the house and cheating? Dave better didn't cheat on Lisa, because then there will be a war. No one hurts my sister, no-one.

I grab my phone and text Christina.

K: Christina, can you come downstairs please. Now?

C: Sure. Why ?

K: Need to talk to you.

C: K. coming.

I hear footsteps and see Christina.

“Hey, you wanted to talk to me?!” She says. I nod. 

“Yes, I was wondering something.” I say.

“What?” Christina looks scared? 

"I walked past Lisa's room and heard her crying and saying something about cheating and kicking him out of the house. Did Dave cheat on her?” I ask. 

“No.. You misunderstood it, but I can't tell you. But I promise, Dave didn't cheat on her, because I'd be already be on my way to kick him then.” She says, smiling at the end.

“Oh okay.” I say confused, why can't she tell me?

*Lisa's POV*

I woke up and grabbed my phone. My lockscreen was a picture of me and Dave, great. I start crying again. I go to my messages and see a few from Sarah and an unknown number? Weird. I open Sarah's message.

S: Hey moose. Where are you??

S: Hello? Where are you????

S: Why are you ignoring me and why is Dave crying?? What's going on.

S: Call me when you get this please, I'm worried.

I decided to call her.

“Lisa? Finally, oh my god, where were you all day?” Sarah says. “I'm at home..” “Why? What's going on?” “I can't tell you now, please come over after school.” I say. “Sure, stay strong, see you after school.” “Bye.” And I hang up. Okay, now the message of the unknown number.

Unknown: Don't forget the money.

Shit, I totally forgot about this. How am I going to solve all this? I can't have these problems as well. I walk up to the bathroom and search for my blade, where the heck is this stupid thing? I. Have. To. Cut.

“Searching for this?” I turn around and see Christina with my blade in her hands.

I feel ashamed and start crying again. I run to her and hug her.

“Lisa, please. Don't ever do it again. Please. I know it's hard, but you have to stay strong. Please. Promise me.” I look up and nod.
